Sven is a character in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. He never makes a physical appearance in the game, but instead can only be talked to by answering a telephone at Phone Booths in Town Center, Weirding Woods, and Mount Steep.

Gameplay

When the player first collects a Golden Gnome in any of the three PvE regions, they will receive a call from Sven at the phone booth where he instructs them to use it to activate that region's Gnome Shrine. Once the player does that, they'll get another call from him where he tells them his backstory: While attending King Gnomus' birthday party last century, Sven was bullied by three Gnome Gnights: Sir Biff, Sir Baff, and Sir Boff. Biff pushed him into the cake; Baff took a picture of him in it; and Boff made him wear a scary T-shirt. Sven then informs the player (depending on the region they are in) which Gnight is hiding in the Shrine, and gives them a map showing the location of all three Diamond Gnomes needed to open it. If the player successfully collects all Diamond Gnomes and defeats the Gnome Gnight boss, Sven will give them a special reward.
