The DPS of the roses is too high for that to be a viable strategy. Assuming the roses stay safely out of your range, they'll suffer 1-2 damage point drop off, assuming they have an accuracy of just under 80%, accounting for their reload, then it'll take a group of 3 roses 8.4s to take out your mech by themselves.
