Snow Day

Snow Day is a special event in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville celebrated on January 2, 2020. It was revealed in a trailer video posted on Twitter on December 28, 2019.[1] It includes a prize map, with the Cowmooflage Commander costume for the Foot Soldier as the mid-prize map reward, the X costume for the Snapdragon as the end prize map reward, and the Millennium Dragon costume for the Snapdragon as the prize map completion reward. It also includes character challenges for A, B, C, and D, with the Super Strumbear universal hat as the completion reward.

during this stage, the player can make an educated guess as to which battle leader will be spawned by looking at the enemy spawn pattern before the enemy forces are almost depleted. some of them include:

  • zen sensei: foot soldiers with the "jungle warrior" hat and non-champion zen sensei.
  • baron von bats: 80s action heroes with "the finisher" costume, elite foot soldiers with the "corporal shootypants" costume, and scientist with
  • spooky squash: kernel corns with the "jack-o-corn" hat
  • woofzy: all-stars
  • shadez 2 cool: 80s action heroes
  • flotsamuel: peashooters and weed
  • sproutrage: peashooters and weed (sometimes it might be hard to tell whether flotsamuel or sproutrage will be spawned because of the similar spawn patterns)

Diamond gnome

Diamond Gnome is an item in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. On each regions, the player needs three of them to unlock the Gnome Gnights boss battles, all of which can be accessed in the region's Gnome Shrime.

Overview

The Diamond Gnomes are scattered across the map, usually in hidden places that are easy to miss. To reveal the locations of the gnomes, the player needs to find the Gnome Shrine for that region, and then answer the mysterious phone call.

On every region, each of gnomes always have the same methods to unlock. They can be unlocked by:

  • completing a platforming challenge;
  • solving a puzzle; or
  • defeating a gnome guard within a time limit.

Collecting all three diamond gnomes will unlock the gnome boss battle:

Platforming challenge

This diamond gnome requires you to either collect all parts for the Mindblower or assemble the Stinky Bomb in order to acquire it, as the path leading to the gnome is blocked by the bodyguard or mushrooms.

Rotating puzzle challenge

This diamond gnome requires you to either collect all parts for the Mindblower or assemble the Stinky Bomb in order to acquire it, as the path leading to the gnome is blocked by the bodyguard or mushrooms.

Unyielding Gnome challenge

You need to master the harmonica in order to acquire all the gnomes in this region, as the path leading to them is blocked by the bodyguard or mushrooms.

This diamond gnome requires you to assemble the boombox in order to acquire it, as the path leading to the gnome is blocked by roots.

Nonogram puzzle challenge

The second diamond gnome is located near the spawn point on the far edge of the shore in Camp Near-a-Lake. To acquire this gnome, the player needs to finish a nonogram puzzle (referred to in-game as "gnomogram"). The first three levels are relatively easy to solve, while the last one is quite difficult due to the increase in grid size to 8x8.

You can either use a nonogram solver or follow the table below. Green cells mark the cells you need to shoot at.
