About

For the Zombies, go here for the zombie list.

Welcome to the funny Almanac entries page that specializes in Plants. The purpose of these funny Almanac entries pages is to remix pretty much all of the Almanac entries in Plants vs. Zombies 2, kinda like giving them a fresh coat of paint, while also including some custom plants for creative purposes. Mints not included.

You may notice a huge amount of contribution to this page. That's because I prefer to edit each section separately instead of all at once because of how big and annoying it is. This is my page anyway, so don't report me for fluff editing.

To do list-

  • Dark Ages
  • Neon Mixtape Tour
  • Jurassic Marsh

Player's House/Modern Day

Peashooter

SUN COST: 100
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 20

RANGE: Straight
PLANT FOOD POWER: Duration

FAMILY: Appease-mint

Peashooters are your first line of defense. They shoot peas at zombies. Seems pretty basic, so... yeah.

May 5, 2009. Peashooter's everlasting life battling zombie hordes began. Starting as humble rip-off of that similar-looking thing from Pokemon, he began to provoke a cult-following, establishing his own independent career overshadowed by Sunflower, and also rising to become one of the franchises mascots. Even to this day, Peashooter is still fighting zombies while Sunflower is still in the sunny spotlight of fame. And so began the first sentence he ever spoke in the history of PvZ2 Almanac entries!

"What is it like to be famous?"

Sunflower

SUN COST: 50
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
SUN PRODUCTION: Sunny

Sunflowers produce sun which isn't consistently possible unless you wear a pot on your head and your pants smell like guacamole. Sun is usually used throughout the PvZ games in order to add in more recruits for the zombie battles.

Sun Production: Sunny

Throughout the years, including her years as a little sprout, Sunflower has become a constant popularity bragger, just because she has her own popular cult following, is the owner of the Sunnyside Inc Program and the Weather News Network, and a famous YouTuber who hasn't uploaded a new video since 2009. Like Peashooter, her amazing lifespan began on May 5, 2009 and has been blooming with sunlight ever since.

Wall-nut

SUN COST: 50
RECHARGE: 20

TOUGHNESS: 4000
PLANT FOOD POWER: Armor

FAMILY: Reinforce-mint

Wall-nuts have tough shells that block of zombie attacks. They'd definitely break your teeth if you try to bite into one, resulting in you to drive nuts over a nutty nutjob who's sacrificing himself for his friends. Not even the most nuttiest nutcracker can overshadow him.

While Wall-nut may be popularly known amongst PvZ fanbase, sometimes, being a nut isn't all it's cracked up to be. For starters, he has a crack in his butt in which cannot be fixed for various reasons. Another thing that doesn't get him is his idea on sacrafication. He feels like he could do a bit more than just stand there all day, watching the zombies' teeth crack into bits, while he annoys them by cracking generic jokes. He's sure that when he dies, he's not going to Heavenly Peach Heaven, but rather Shell. Aw, nuts!

Potato Mine

SUN COST: 25
RECHARGE: 20

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 1800

AREA: Tile
PLANT FOOD POWER: Duplication

ARMING TIME: 14
FAMILY: Bombard-mint

Potato Mines are explosive potatoes implemented into the ground. Whenever they're threatened or stepped on, they let out their explosive energy.

Usage: single use, delayed activation
Range: contact

Potato Mine is mindful on sacraficastion. Though it makes no sense to why he's usually resurrected, probably because he's immune to his own collateral damage. But teasing him for his somewhat-cute looks and sometimes even calling him generic referential names, like "Mr. Potato Head" must be taken with caution, as he can easily set the bar too high when he emerges into the deep fried Hothead. His greatest enemy isn't even zombies. It's the fry cooks at Mulchburger's Fast Food. You can probably guess why.

Cabbage-pult

SUN COST: 100
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 40

RANGE: Lobbed
PLANT FOOD POWER: Cabbage Count

FAMILY: Arma-mint

Cabbage-pults hurl cabbages over objects like Tombstones, Surfboards and Ice Blocks, hitting Zombies in the head as if food rained from the sky. I suppose you'd get the reference. Either way, Cabbage-pults literally deny anyone who says vegetables are gross, because that comes as offensive to them.

Cabbage-pult was born in a cabbage patch, and eventually became Peashooter's best friend. With that said, when battling zombies, Peashooter would go low, and Cabbage-pult would go high, and he was pretty amazing at his job, especially when he needed to nail some undead souls on Crazy Dave's rooftop. At the end of the day when he has won the war, Cabbage-pult would always mutter to himself just how hurlarious it was that these Zombies lack a high level on intelligence. Cabbage-pult pursuits to show people that tossing stuff is better than shooting stuff.

Ancient Egypt

Bloomerang

SUN COST: 175
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 20

RANGE: Multi-Hit
PLANT FOOD POWER: Duration

FAMILY: Spear-mint

Bloomerang flings piercing projectiles at zombies, passing through them and taking damage. The boomerang then makes its way back to Bloomerang, piercing the zombies it passes once more to make sure they Digeridon't make it to your house. Bloomerang is immune to being wiped out by Jester Zombies, as he's a really great catcher. His birthname is Jeff, by the way. If you don't know why, you haven't read the comics.

Special: can hit up to three targets, with two hits each

Karen Zombies believe that Australia doesn't exist and that everyone who lives there are paid actors. If that's the case, Bloomerang should've known that he didn't originate from the land down under, but from Crazy Dave's laboratory, along with all the other anthropomorphic plants. It makes sense now- the boomerang was just a Crazy Dave invention that filmmakers used to create the so-called "Australia".

Iceberg Lettuce

SUN COST: 0
RECHARGE: 20

SPECIAL: Freeze
FAMILY: Winter-mint

Iceberg Lettuce temporarily freezes any zombies that step on him. He likes to intimidate those deceased dimwits with his big adorable anime-esque eyes. It's such a cute trap that the zombies falling victim end up getting goosebumps... making them cold, according to personal experience.

Iceberg Lettuce lives in Crazy Dave's refrigerator. So get jealous when Summer rolls around and he spends most of his time in Dave's fridge, away from the heat. Although, it comes with a flaw, that not being allowed to go out and have some fun. Besides, his allies could really use something to slow down the plants. But he doesn't care, ever since Stallia took over his job.

Grave Buster

SUN COST: 0
RECHARGE: 10

TOUGHNESS: 300
SPECIAL: Bust Speed

FAMILY: Contain-mint

Grave Buster removes any graves or tombstones on the lawn. Very useful for sun and Plant Food collecting needs in the timeline's most dark and medieval era.

Usage: single use, must be planted on graves
Special: multiplies graves

It's never really explained how graves just automatically rise from the ground whenever they feel like it. A lot of graves rise from the ground and show up in Crazy Dave's yard to the point that it drives him... irritated. You thought I was gonna say "crazy"? Nah, Crazy Dave has already proved that. However, the mystery of the graves led Grave Buster into wanting to start a Gravebusters business. All he needs to do is figure out how to work the telephone. Which is a stumbling block that not even he can erase from his area. He has no arms. If you're Peashooter's and Mushrooms are dead, pick up the phone and call.
In memory of Ivan Reitman.

Bonk Choy

SUN COST: 150
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 15

PLANT FOOD POWER: Duration
RANGE: Close

Bonk Choy puts his gymnasium workouts to use by punching zombies within his karma zone from the front and back. His ring name is Grawarr-Bear the Ultimate Face Puncher.

Special: can attack ahead or behind

A new rule set up within Dave Manor states that the lights will only go out at nighttime once all the plants are asleep, not counting the mushrooms. And that includes Bonk Choy and his friends, but they're too tough and addicted to their Punching Gymnasium to actually get some sleep and count some sheep. Even without getting sleep, Bonk Choy's dream is to become the ultimate pro boxing champion in Neighborville. He ain't even breakin' a sweat.

Repeater

SUN COST: 200
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 20

RANGE: Straight
PLANT FOOD POWER: Duration

FAMILY: Appease-mint

Repeaters are like your average Peashooter, but with two to the price of one. Repeaters shoot two peas at once at approaching enemies. Rinse and repeat for the next shufflin' enemy to come.

Damage Details: normal (for each pea)
Firing Speed: 2x

Repeater repetitively repeats everything he says, which isn't a big surprise, considering that he always repeats literally everything he does throughout his life. Even going to the movies. But all of a sudden, he'd eventually spoil the movie the second time viewing it, and everyone else would give him a peace of their minds. Repeater repetitively repeats everything he says, which isn't a big surprise, considering that he always repeats literally everything he does throughout his life. Even going to the movies. But all of a sudden, he'd eventually spoil the movie the second time viewing it, and everyone else would give him a peace of their minds. Wait, didn't I just say those last three sentences before???

Twin Sunflower

SUN COST: 125
RECHARGE: 10

TOUGHNESS: 300
SUN PRODUCTION: Double Sunshine

Twin Sunflowers produce double the sunshine for their adorable seedling needs. Twin Sunflower uses she/her pronouns, when it SHOULD be they/them, since there's two of them. But if that's what she prefers, then I'm not gonna argue any further.

Sun Production: double

As the old and generic saying goes, two heads are better than one. Twin Sunflower could've used that advantage to have the music video, Zombies on Your Lawn be twice as popular, but the two heads can never sync up their singing properly. So it just caused twice the trouble during production. Oh, and also, who needs spotlights if you're a Sunflower-type plant? That actually makes zero sense when you can just glow.

Pirate Seas

Kernel-pult

SUN COST: 100
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 30

RANGE: Lobbed
SPECIAL: Stun

FAMILY: Arma-mint

Kernel-pults fling kernel corn at zombies, and occasionally throws butter at them on the side, freezing them in place with their buttery creamy goodness. Sounds very corny, I know.

Damage Details: light (kernel), normal (butter)
Special: butter immobilizes zombies

Kernel-pult regularly binge-watches the most random movies you've never heard of. One of his favourites is this horror movie called Carnage Cornfield, which tells the story of a bunch of Kernel-pults who must try to escape Sunnyside Farm from an evil farmer who wants to turn them into cobs for the 4th of July. After he watched the movie for the first time, Kernel-pult turned towards Crazy Dave out the window, fertilizing the garden and all he could say in his mind was, "Crazy Dave would never make a meal out of me, right? RIGHT!?" The sudden traumatizing experience blew Kernal's mind open with all the bad possibilities of what could happen. Nowadays, he's older and smart enough to know the only thing he's got to worry about are zombies. It's been like that ever since 2009.

Snapdragon

SUN COST: 150
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 30

PLANT FOOD POWER: Damage
RANGE: Close

FAMILY: Pepper-mint

Snapdragon breathes flammable fire, ballistically burning any zombies within a 2x3 radius. He may look like he's full of steam, but he just wants to be a cool ally for you and his fellow plant colleagues.

Special: damages all zombies in the 6 tiles in front of it

A fire in downtown Neighborville gave Snapdragon the perfect opportunity to become a firefighter, hoping that he could find a new purpose in his life. The only problem was that he didn't realize that he was the one who started the fire, following an encounter with a few zombies near the building. He later got fired from the job because of that. It hurt him when his boss said, "You're fired! Now you can go spread your wings and fly away!", which didn't really make sense to Snapdragon, considering he doesn't even have wings.

Spikeweed

SUN COST: 100
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 10

AREA: Tile
FAMILY: Spear-mint

Spikeweeds lay out in the sunshine, waiting for any shufflin' browncoats to step on him and get holes in their old leather shoes. Spikeweeds can also pop the wheels of any heavy-duty object that rolls onto him. He could take out an entire bus if he wanted to.

Special: can't be eaten by zombies
Weakness: crushed by rolling zombies

Spikeweed is secretly a member of the Neighborville Stalker Facility. His job is to spy on Crazy Dave's neighbors to see if they're actually zombies in low-budget disguises. Spikeweed's disguise is a pair of glasses with a plastic nose and a moustache and he doesn't even need to hide in a bush. All he has to do is sit there on the grass and wait until the zombies take a good step on him. All it did was keep the mailman from delivering any letters for 37 weeks, as long as Spikeweed was standing in front of the house. Crazy Dave has been waiting forever to get a letter from his Great Great Aunt Cloria Blazing.

Spring Bean

SUN COST: 50
RECHARGE: 20

TOUGHNESS: 300
RECOVERY TIME: 10

SPECIAL: Knockback
AREA: Single

FAMILY: Contain-mint

Spring Bean bounces zombies back a few steps, before temporarily going back to sleep. Spring Bean will try to bounce zombies into nearby water if possible, but if it's Big Wave Beach, then zombies will continue to trudge forwards.

Special: pushes zombies back, or into the water
Weakness: gets sleepy after springing

As long as the Bonk Choys are still in the Punching Gymnasium, Spring Bean has no choice but to de-energize during the day in order to regain some lost sleep time. He doesn't know it, but every time he's asleep, the other plants use him as a boxing glove to get rid of the zombies, even though he refuses to be used as one. So the Bonk Choys are basically putting him to good use.

Coconut Cannon

SUN COST: 400
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 900

FIRING RATE: 15
AREA: 3x3

FAMILY: Arma-mint

Coconut Cannons fire explosive coconuts at zombies. After firing a projectile, they proceed to recharge for a while. He's blastastic at plundering those scurvy brats!

Usage: tap to fire
Range: straight
Special: on impact, explodes in medium area

Coconut Cannon really despises his job, which is to stand in a specific position on a pirate ship all day and wait for the arrival of an enemy pirate ship containing Captain Chestbeard and his crew. Coconut Cannon long dreams of a relaxation life on BBQ Beach to soak up the sunshine, alongside his girlfriend in a seaweed skirt and a coconut bra. Right now, he's dealing with undesirable detonation duties. Hopefully a pirate ship full of a bunch of movie-pirating Kernel-pults show up soon so he can be put to good use.

Threepeater

SUN COST: 300
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 20

RANGE: Multi-Lane
PLANT FOOD POWER: Duration

FAMILY: Appease-mint

Threepeaters are three times the fun and three times the pain, if you're a zombie. Threepeaters shoot multiple peas across their lanes, and the nearest lane above and below. Three times the damage, three times the brain flavour, three times the sun price. He's very odd, and not just because he has three heads.

Damage Details: normal (for each pea)
Range Details: three lanes

As the old generic saying says, three heads are better than one. Thus, the same story with Twin Sunflower once applied to Threepeater during their audition of "Zombies on Your Lawn". Syncing is difficult at times, especially, when one neck accidentally tangles up another neck. Most certinatly not necktacular at all.

Spikerock

SUN COST: 250
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 20

AREA: Tile
FAMILY: Spear-mint

Spikerocks are covered in very sharp edges that stab the feet of any zombies that step on them. They can also break any rolling objects with their tiny sharpening swords. His shiny crystalized body provides excellent protection from teeth.

Special: can't be eaten by the zombies
Weakness: can take three hits from rolling zombies

Spikerock secretly works for the Super Secret Ultimate Spying Facility Totally Not Located In Neighborville, which is practically the next league to Spikeweed's lousy job. In the new league, you get to actually have fun listening to the stepping victims scream in agony while you work. It's all part of Spikerock's cover. And in this case, he's covering himself with all sorts of shoe tears.

Cherry Bomb

SUN COST: 150
RECHARGE: 35

DAMAGE: 1800
AREA: 3x3

FAMILY: Bombard-mint

Cherry Bombs detonate, disintegrating multiple zombies in a 3x3 area. When the short fuse begins to ignite, they splatter the zombies all over the walls.

Usage: single use, instant

Cherry Bomb isn't a big fan of birthdays. Crazy Dave can never afford to get about a million birthday candles in response to the millions of plants that he gave birth to over the years. So Crazy Dave always ends up just using one of the Cherry Bomb Twins as a single birthday cake candle and that's it. The last time the Cherry Bombs were assigned with Operation: Birthday Blowout, Crazy Dave was hosting a birthday for his niece, Patrice Blazing. The next birthday they're gonna have to attend as the candles is THEIRS. Don't even get me started on how Crazy Dave is able to afford a million cakes for a million different birthdays, but not candles. He's been inconsistently intelligent ever since he was born. Assumingly, May 9th. They're hoping they get a fire extinguisher on their birthday.

Wild West

Split Pea

SUN COST: 125
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 20

RANGE: Front & Back
PLANT FOOD POWER: Duration

FAMILY: Appease-mint

Split Peas shoot peas at zombies in two different directions. One head fires a pea upfront, the other fires two peas behind.

Firing Speed: 1x forward, 2x backwards

The two Split Pea heads don't seem to understand why they're called "Split Pea" when both their heads are attached to one another. But that's not the only thing that don't get. From the Peashooter Head's perspective, his side is the front and Repeater Head's side is the back, but from Repeater Head's perspective, HIS side is the front and the Peashooter Head's side is the back. It's like having two people from two different perspectives look at a number, and one of them says "6", while the other says "9". Also, just like a normal Repeater, Repeater Head repeats everything he repetitively says, so Peashooter Head has to listen to everything he says twice, which causes three times the annoyance. They have a split personality that makes all the other plants question them.

Chili Bean

SUN COST: 50
RECHARGE: 20

TOUGHNESS: 300
SPECIAL: Stun

RANGE: Touch
PLANT FOOD POWER: Duplication

FAMILY: Ail-mint

Chili Beans spray stunning and cunning gastrointestinal gasoline when zombies eat them when they're baked fresh. Chili Bean represents everything wrong with humor in kids entertainment nowadays. He's not a big fan of table manners.

Usage: on eaten
Special: eating zombie is destroyed and releases stunning gas

Chili Bean would be the kind of person who would enjoy having beans on toast for a breakfast brunch, but just like all the other plants, he can never seem to get past the idea of cannibalism. Unfortunately, when Crazy Dave was invited to have a fancy dinner with some random British Gentlemen Zombie and his fancy Damsel Lady Zombie, he took a dozen of plants along with him to the feast, including Chili Bean. Chili Bean didn't like how the Gentleman Zombie was consuming beans on toast. The Gentleman wanted to have brains on toast for the next fancy dinner and his head chef began sprinkling pepper all over Crazy Dave's head while he ate his vegetables... the inanimate ones, not the plants in the chairs next to him. In order to save Crazy Dave and teach the Gentlemen a lesson, Chili Bean decided to hide himself in a can of baked beans, and when the chef spread them onto the toast, he was hiding within the crowd. Gentlemen Zombie's dinner came around, but when he took that first bite, that's when the disgustingly juvenile gas began to spread throughout the mansion. The chef died, the damsel was in distress, and the Gentlemen Zombie accused Crazy Dave of letting loose. "Oh, how OUTRAGEOUS!" He yelled, and kicked Crazy Dave and the plants out very fast, as he needed to get his inhaler as the fumes got in his mouth. The entire mansion took 500 days to clean afterwards. Chili Bean's lesson from the experience is that sometimes, when things get very stressful, it's best to just let it all out. But not specifically like this.

Pea Pod

SUN COST: 125
RECHARGE: Fast

TOUGHNESS: Typical
DAMAGE: Normal

RANGE: Straight
PLANT FOOD POWER: Duration

FAMILY: Appease-mint

Pea Pod shoots peas at zombies, but can be planted on five times to make them shoot more peas at once, until they're at their maximum capacity. Five times the heads, five times the intelligence and five times the delicious brain flavour. One for breakfast one for lunch, one for afternoon tea, one for dinner, and one for dessert, that is if the zombies can resist their peatrifying pea power.

Damage Details: normal (for each pea)
Special: increases rate of fire with multiple plantings

The Pea Pod family exists within the extended Appease-mint family. The five heads are even related to Starfruit, the Bowling Bulbs, Rotobaga and Red Stinger despite them not having the green leaves and the round peashooting mouths. Chances are they could be adopted. However, it could be possible that all the plants are biologically related to each other, as they were all born by Crazy Dave. Anyways, Pea Pod has recently found a new career in being a hat rack. Except they can only hold five hats.

Lightning Reed

SUN COST: 125
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 10

RANGE: Multi-Hit
SPECIAL: Zombies Zapped

FAMILY: Fila-mint

Lightning Reeds zap zombies with their vicious voltage, perfect for deep-frying Zombie Chickens and Weasels alike.

Lightning Reed was once Benjamin Franklin's assistant when it came to his famous kite experiment. That wasn't true before, but it is now thanks to the wonderful concept of time travel. Lightning Reed would go on to be loved by everyone and the real Benjamin Franklin forgotten.

Melon-pult

SUN COST: 325
RECHARGE: Fast

TOUGHNESS: Typical
DAMAGE: Heavy

RANGE: Lobbed
AREA: 3x3

FAMILY: Arma-mint

Melon-pult hurls menacingly massive melons at zombies, resulting in them being splattered by the lobbing ludicrous fruits of delicious melon flavour.

Firing Speed: 1/2x

Melon-pult lived a regular life growing up on the rooftops of Dave Manor alongside other lobbed-shots, and even massively contributed to the Ultimate Zomboss Showdown of 2009. One day, he discovered on a giant digital billboard in Neighborville, that ZCorp Incorporated Inc was developing new fruit smoothies and energy drinks to boost their clients' speed, strength, and all sorts of other precious perks to make up for their lack of intelligence, much to Melon-pult's dismay. That's when Melon-pult had an idea. He joined forces with all the other fruit plants and started to fire their projectiles at ZCorp. They figured if ZCorp was gonna make smoothies, then the plants would give them all the ingredients they've got... with such a painful delivery.

Tall-nut

SUN COST: 125
RECHARGE: 20

TOUGHNESS: 8000
PLANT FOOD POWER: Armor

FAMILY: Reinforce-mint

Tall-nuts have a boost in height compared to regular Wall-nuts. Not only do they provide jaw-breaking defense against zombies, but they also block off anyone who dares to try and jump or fly over them. Try him on for size!

Special: blocks launched imps

Tall-nut's height comes with many unironic downsizes. For one, he cannot enter most buildings, and even if he were to duck through the doorway, chances are he'll damage the brick walls with his tough hard-to-crack shell body. Another issue is that Tall-nut attracts too much unnecessary attention, just because of how tall he is. He prefers to be a loner, and he doesn't really need women to be happy. But those are just the benefits from having a muscular body. Tall-nut just wants to look good in front of the zombies who think they can pull off more than they can chew.

Winter Melon

SUN COST: 500
RECHARGE: Fast

TOUGHNESS: Typical
DAMAGE: Heavy

RANGE: Lobbed
AREA: 3x3

PLANT FOOD POWER: Damage
SPECIAL: Chill

FAMILY: Winter-mint

Winter Melon hurls frostingly freezable frozen foods at zombies, causing splattering damage with his frozen fury and chilling them with their ice cold melons projectiles. He's immune to the cold, and is adapted to the cold.

Firing Speed: 1/2x

The plants don't hesitate to wanna use Winter Melon as their personal air conditioning system whenever the sunshine is too much for them to handle. During the hot summer days within Neighborville's BBQ Beach, whenever the plants need a desperate cooldown, they'll have to pay Winter Melon 500 in sun so they can get an ice cold fruit smashed onto their head. The plants are annoyed with how Winter Melon ain't being all that cool with his price policies. His favourite cereal brand is Snow Flakes, by the way.

Frostbite Caves

Hot Potato

SUN COST: 0
RECHARGE: Mediocre

TOUGHNESS: Typical
DAMAGE: Light

AREA: Single
FAMILY: Pepper-mint

Hot Potato deep-fries ice blocks that they're planted on, melting them into a slushy puddle. The ice blocks that Hot Potato can be planted on may contain plants that aren't adapted to the cold, or 8000-year old zombies who have been stuck in those gargantuan glaciers for most of the world's history.

Usage: single use
Special: melts an ice block

Hot Potato's life as a flammable substance works perfectly when huge chunks of ice stand within the wasteland inhabitants' way. If she were to have failed her thawing work and got stuck in a huge chunk of ice, she could've transported to a whole new time period and if she managed to get free, she could've stopped the Titanic from sinking. She's very thawful with the way she does her melting business. However, after a long day of keeping the ice age from melting down, she deserves to rest and have a little cooldown herself. The frozen vegetables of Frostbite Caves see her as some hot stuff, but that's a whole other story.

Pepper-pult

SUN COST: 200
RECHARGE: Sluggish

TOUGHNESS: Typical
DAMAGE: Moderate

RANGE: Lobbed
SPECIAL: Warming Radius

FAMILY: Pepper-mint

Pepper-pult lobs flaming pepper projectiles at zombies, burning them to a crisp, while also providing warmth for his frozen vegetable companions and melting ice blocks that crowd the wasteland. He's a real hothead, and he gets annoyed real quick whenever he's steamy.

Special: immune to frost
Special: warms nearby tiles

Pepper-pult loaths the days he spends being used by all the other frostbitten plants as a campfire in their prehistoric cave. He's tried to tell them a million times that they're risking getting their leaves burnt off, but no-one can ever seem to listen, as in the ice age, the only thing people got to worry about here, is to SURVIVE. But if they want to, they're gonna have to consider taking Pepper-pult's advice, before he accidentally burns something down to the ground.

Chard Guard

SUN COST: 75
RECHARGE: Mediocre

TOUGHNESS: Elevated
PLANT FOOD POWER: Damage

SPECIAL: Leaf Pushes
FAMILY: Reinforce-mint

Chard Guard knockback zombies that step on their leaves. Chard Guard can toss zombies away from them three times, until all their leaves are gone. Thankfully, Chard Guard can make up for his lack of leaves by protecting plants behind him with his hard-to-chew body.

With Chard Guard's ability to fling Cave Zombies back to where they came from, you'd think that he'd use his strength to lift those icy glaciers and toss them off the lawn, making room for more frozen vegetables and peas to drop in and battle the hoard of frozen-faced tundra-surviving idiots. Unfortunately, he doesn't do that kind of stuff anymore, ever since his days with the World Wrestling Foliage. He can't lift with his legs because he has none. The only excuse to actually use his lifting would be on zombies only, and that's it. So when all the Hot Potatoes have been thawed out and the glaciers begin to move, what's Chard Guard gonna do about it?

Stunion

SUN COST: 25
RECHARGE: Sluggish

TOUGHNESS: Typical
RANGE: Close

FAMILY: Contain-mint

Stunions let out their bad breath whenever a zombie comes close to them, temporarily stunning them. Best case scenario is, they cannot be beaten or eaten. If they were, then they'd have to be a defensive plant with all them layers attached to the vegetable. Stunions and cakes... they both have layers, you get it.

Usage: single use, activates when zombie is close
Special: stuns nearby zombies

With the millions of plants that exist in Dave Manor, there's no surprise that Crazy Dave would have to take care of their dentist appointments too. However, instead of doing all the plants' dentist appointments individually, Crazy Dave decides to get them all done in one day. That's how Neighborville ended up making Take Your Plant to the Dentist Day, taking place every June 30th, and every December 30th. One of the plants that is forced to go to the dentist every six months is Stunion, whose bad breath suggests that he never took any of the hygienists' tips seriously. Even Crazy Dave had been on Stunion's case. He once took part in a Neighborville campaign to Stop Zombie Mouth, true story. However, it seems Stunion's breath will remain. His bad breath will make you cry, so say goodbye, this is not a lie, it can hurt you.

Rotobaga

SUN COST: 150
RECHARGE: Fast

TOUGHNESS: Typical
DAMAGE: Normal

RANGE: 4 Way
PLANT FOOD POWER: Duration

FAMILY: Appease-mint

Rotobagas shoot piercing projectiles in four different directions. She can also hover over oceanic surfaces. She is the eye in the sky and sees everything that ensues.

She shoots, she scores, she holds the record for having the longest almanac entry in the actual game, she shoots, she acquired the rights to a film called "Projectile Shooting: Rebooted (Or should I say ReSHOOTED)" and has 4 archery trophies. She wouldn't even be surprised if she shot Apple Mortar at one point. I'm sure you get the point.

Lost City

Red Stinger

SUN COST: 150
RECHARGE: Fast

TOUGHNESS: Elevated
DAMAGE: Moderate

RANGE: Straight
FAMILY: Appease-mint

Red Stinger shoots red projectiles at zombies when he's further away from them, but when he gets closer, he'll begin to hide in his petals and become more defensive rather than offensive.

Rumors had been going around that the reason why Red Stinger hides in his shell-like petals whenever he's further away from the house is because, deep down inside, he's secretly homesick, that he'd rather be in the comfort of Dave Manor with his plant colleagues and toaster built into the walls of the mansion instead of sweating out in the hazardous jungles on an expedition to find the lost city. Some have started to question Red Stinger thanks to these rumors spreading, since a green healthy environment infested with a bunch of plants is where Red Stinger SHOULD be living. That's when 230 of the plants started thinking about moving out of Dave Manor themselves in favour for their natural habitats in the jungle. And so, the 230 plants moved out of Dave Manor, seeking refuge in the rainforest. If only they remembered to say their goodbyes to Crazy Dave.

A.K.E.E.

SUN COST: 175
RECHARGE: Fast

TOUGHNESS: Typical
DAMAGE: Normal

SPECIAL: Shot Bounces
RANGE: Lobbed

FAMILY: Arma-mint

The Autonomous Katapulting Ejectomatic Emitter, otherwise known as A.K.E.E. shoots black projectiles into the air that bounce from zombie to zombie to zombie.

A.K.E.E., being the little prankster he is, likes to spy on numerous Adventurer Zombie groups and start a chain reaction of conflict by bouncing his projectiles on their heads, causing one zombie to accuse the other of the incident, until all the zombies start insulting each other. One day, A.K.E.E. sought to prank a whole new group of jungle expeditioners, but one of the zombies had dynamite in his bag. One entire YouTube fan animation later, and the forest was burnt to a crisp. That's when everyone began to make their way towards the lost city, as without the trees, there was nothing to keep it hidden.

Endurian

SUN COST: 100
RECHARGE: Mediocre

TOUGHNESS: Elevated
DAMAGE: Normal

RANGE: Touch
FAMILY: Reinforce-mint

Endurian is an orange oversized fruit covered in spikes, who blocks off attacking zombies with his hard jaw-breaking body, while also committing piercing damage to them.

Endurian likes to travel through the dark parts of the jungle. He believes his spikes can withstand anything the environment has to throw at him, including venomous creatures and other sharp objects. One day, Endurian wanted to see if he could resist the generic traps that lurked within a nearby temple. Endurian climbed up the stairs, ready to put his so-called "expedition" to the test. He blocked off the arrows with ease, but then came the rolling stone. Endurian began rolling out of the temple, but because he pressed on all the tiles at once, more traps unleashed. Endurian was thankful he managed to make his way outta there, but after going through that experience, he's really unsure if he can actually call himself tough now.

Stallia

SUN COST: 0
RECHARGE: Sluggish

RANGE: Touch
AREA: 3x3

SPECIAL: Stall
FAMILY: Contain-mint

Stallia emits purple gas, temporarily slowing down any zombies within its radius.

Usage: single use, activates when zombie is close
Special: slows nearby zombies

Stallia's been travelling through the juvenile jungle for a very long time. After 60 days and 60 nights of staying awake with now rest, hoping to complete her expedition to find the Temple of Bloom, she finally got tired. She began to slow down and snooze off, but while she was sleeping in her campsite, her purple clouds began to spray all over the jungle, slowing everything and everyone down except for her. She was proud of herself when she finally made it to the Temple of Bloom, and when she climbed up the stairs and saw how purple the jungle looked from below and into the distance, she discovered why she managed to get to the temple in the first place. But that's not all she discovered. Her adventure still continued into the temple, where she discovered... the legendary Golden Leaf.

Gold Leaf

SUN COST: 50
RECHARGE: Slow

Gold Leaf generates a Golden Tile for other plants to use and gain quick access to Ancient sunshine.

Usage: single use, instant

For many decades, Adventurer Zombies on long expeditions have traveled through the devastating rainforest to find the Gold Leaf in the Temple of Bloom. They believe that with the power of the sun in the palm of their hands, they can wipe it out so that the seeds don't grow, but the brains on their plate will. One day, Dr. Zomboss and Derek Allardfautch made their way to the entrance of the Temple of Bloom, ready to take the golden goodie for themselves. After dodging numerous traps, they finally made it to the Ancient circular room made out of gold, where the Gold Leaf stood still on top of a huge stone pillar. Dr. Zomboss climbed up the pillar, and swiped the Gold Leaf for himself, putting a regular leaf in her place. However, the plan wasn't flawless. The security system detected the leaf wasn't the same and all of a sudden, turquoise fire, arrow-shooting walls and a rolling stone began to go after the zombies with the Gold Leaf in Zomboss' hands. The Gold Leaf woke up and she used her sunshine powers to blind Dr. Zomboss and Derek, and blast them out of the temple, far away into the woods where the Lost City Imp and his team were camping. And with that, the Ancient Golden Leaf in the Temple of Bloom proceeded to rest in peace. Not like she died or something.

Far Future

Laser Bean

SUN COST: 200
RECHARGE: Fast

TOUGHNESS: Typical
DAMAGE: Moderate

RANGE: Multi-Hit
PLANT FOOD POWER: Damage

FAMILY: Spear-mint

Laser Bean beams powerful beams at zombies, emphasizing that their lives have “bean” fun, but have to risk getting their heads lasered off.

Range: All zombies in a lane

Laser Bean is always receiving invitations to laser tag parties and laser light shows, except he doesn't attend, not because he knows that the people running these events wanna take advantage of him. Laser Bean barely uses his powers indoors, especially in a building with hundreds of windows, such as Dave Manor. He once went to the Louvre Pyramid in Paris, but he accidentally let loose and the lasers reflected off of all the surfaces back towards him. That was when his reflection showed who he was inside.

Blover

SUN COST: 50
RECHARGE: Sluggish

AREA: Full Board

Considering that he has multiple surprises in store, Blover is sure to blow you away! And I mean literally.

Usage: single use, instant
Special: blows away all flying zombies

Blover created a big presentation that he wanted to show to people some day. He believed his presentation would blow people away with his plans to dominate the electric fan market with his kind, who he believes is superior. After he showcased his presentation, he started going around forming an alliance with his Blover, Hurrikale and Draftodil goons, but with their combined strength, the streets of Neighborville had never been so crowded with autumn leaves. Blover had to do community service afterwards, but he didn't mind, because his presentation had over 200 slides and was very laggy anyways.

Citron

SUN COST: 350
RECHARGE: Fast

TOUGHNESS: Typical
DAMAGE: Huge

RANGE: Straight
FIRING RATE: Slow

PLANT FOOD POWER: Damage
FAMILY: Fila-mint

An a-PEAL-ing addition to your defenses, Citron loves to battle it out, until he runs out of juice.

Citron despises juiceboxes, because he knows that they are full of sugar just to make a quick profit. By putting sugar in those products, people don't know what real fruit juice actually taste like. Thankfully, people have started to catch on with the supermarket's schemes, but the only downside is that they keep coming to Citron whenever he's preparing for a zombie fight, in order to fill up their juiceboxes whenever he gets sweaty. It's not like Citron's doing much these days anyway, ever since the 60% cooler Garden Warfare Citron came in.

E.M.Peach

SUN COST: 25
RECHARGE: Sluggish

RADIUS: Normal
FAMILY: Fila-mint

Disables electronics everywhere, paranoid that people are disrespecting nature.

Usage: single use, instant
Special: disables machines

E.M.Peach may be small, but he is the definitive key to defeating a huge threat who is obsessed with technological technology of terror. If he stumbled upon a green tech-wizard screen-addicted clod, they'd be taken down without any problems. E.M.Peach is all for electricity and technology, but he also likes to touch grass, being a plant and all that. Though sometimes, he just can't make up his mind.

Infi-nut

SUN COST: 75
RECHARGE: Mediocre

TOUGHNESS: Elevated
SPECIAL: Regeneration

FAMILY: Reinforce-mint

A holographic nut built into a projector, who likes to piss off those who try to destroy him. It's not technically a hologram if he can be touched.

Special: regenerates health over time

Infi-nut had recently collected all six Infinutty Stones. However, the only stumbling bock is that, now Infi-nut needs to figure out how to execute the snap in order to erase half of humanity. The darn guy has no arms, buddy. Reality is often disappointing.

Magnifying Grass

SUN COST: 50
RECHARGE: Fast

TOUGHNESS: Typical
DAMAGE: Huge

PLANT FOOD POWER: Beam Strength
FAMILY: Fila-mint

Magnifying Grass' like to light up the night with dazzling and colourfully crystalized laser lights! However, it'll cost you your sun bank savings.

Special: tap to spend sun for an attack

There are people out there who tell you to touch grass, but in the case of Magnifying Grass, she tells you to touch glass. And that's not a good piece of advice.

Tile Turnip

SUN COST: 250
RECHARGE: Mediocre

SPECIAL: Free Tiles
SPECIAL: Cost Efficiency

Tile Turnip's spin around and place exclusive purple tiles down on the chrome floor, with his sun price increasing the more he's put to use. He's also a DJ on the side who loves to turnip the beet. This guy is the reason why Tile Denial's name exists.

Usage: single use, instant

As a DJ, Tile Turnip pays by the hour, but the price increases the more he stays. He'll end up becoming even more expensive than the electricity bills and the party food. He might even surpass the amount of money you're paying for streaming services and Disney+ Premiere Access.

Shadow Peashooter

SUN COST: 125
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 70

PLANT FOOD POWER: Damage
SPECIAL: Powered Swallows

FAMILY: Conceal-mint

Shadow Peashooters are a mixed bag of Peashooters, Stallias, Doom-shrooms, Laser Beans, Moonflowers and Grimroses. There, that should be enough to describe this extra powerful plant.

Special: fires piercing, slowing bolts when powered

Shadow Peashooter rather wants to be independent and isolated*, which is why he loves it whenever summer rolls around and he's ready to head to Big Wave Beach since everyone ditched that place for the BBQ Beach making Shadow Pea the only visitor there. However, Shadow Peashooter's streak broke due to 2020's disastrous Quarantine. But at the very least, he got what he wanted*.

Sling Pea

SUN COST: 125
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 20

FAMILY: Arma-mint

Just grab a Cabbage-pult and replace the cabbages with peas. Now go get me a drink while I analyse the rest of this newly established "abomination".

TBA

Goo Peashooter

SUN COST: 125
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 30

SPECIAL: Poison
PLANT FOOD POWER: Damage

FAMILY: Ail-mint

Take a Peashooter, stick a Shadow-shroom to him, and you can consider yourself lucky that you've just created a goopy shooter.

Goo Peashooter is always finding himself in a sticky situation. He’s known for leaving a poisonous trail of goop behind him, everywhere he goes, so I wouldn’t touch him if I were you. Just stick to the regular Peashooter. (Not literally)

Snap Pea

SUN COST: 200
RECHARGE: 10

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 30

SPECIAL: Chew Speed
SPECIAL: 400

FAMILY: Enforce-mint

Snap Peas dive very deep underground, burrow towards zombies from miles away, then pop up underneath to swallow them instantly in one gulp. Snap Peas then return to their starting spot from miles away, chew on the entire matter for a long period of time, and finally spit the zombies' heads out at other zombies.

When you combine Peashooter with a Chomper, you're bound to make a new interesting plant in a snap! It's actually easy peasy to do so- you just gotta bypass the sprite rendering first.

Zoybean Pod

SUN COST: 200
RECHARGE: 20

TOUGHNESS: 300
Grow Time: 18

Special: Zomboid Type
Zomboid Level: 1

FAMILY: Enchant-mint

Zoybean Pods grow from sprouts to full pods which takes 120 minutes, then split open to release lots and lost of helpful plant "zomboids" which attack zombies in order TOFU-OOL them in an awkward matter.

Zoybean Pod has no trouble making plant counterparts of Zombies, except the whole mixing-plants-with-zombies concept has already "bean" done before, in a mini-game called Zombotany. Oh my pod, seriously, it's noticeable that Zoybean is trying to keep the spirit of the mini-game alive or something.

Dazey Chain

SUN COST: 150
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
Max Damage: 60

Max Stun: 4
FAMILY: Contain-mint

Dazey Chains grow through stages for 60 minutes, becoming really powerful and releasing a stunning puff of gas at each stage.

Whenever you're in doubt, just remember that Pop Cap straight up confirmed that Dazey Chain is non-binary. So it's good to know that they support the LGBTQ Community when Electronic Arts is still being a crap company at the same time. That should make you feel better.

Electrici-tea

SUN COST: 125
RECHARGE: 15

TOUGHNESS: 150
DAMAGE: 950

PLANT FOOD POWER: Damage
RANGE: Multi-Hit

Special: Zombies Zapped
FAMILY: Fila-mint

Hey guys, let's make a new plant, because that "Electrici-TEA" pun is too good NOT to use in a plants name!

Electrici-tea is just a prime example of everything wrong with PopCap's intentions of making unbearable puns.

Blastberry Vine

SUN COST: 175
RECHARGE: 10

TOUGHNESS: 200
RANGE: Lobbed

DAMAGE: 15
PLANT FOOD POWER: Damage

FAMILY: Arma-mint

Blastberry Vines are a combination of Pumpkin and Lobbed-shot Plants. That's just as predictable as you can get.

Blastberry Vine only wants to capitalize on what Pumpkin did in the original game, and have a total “blast” with his life as a defensive plant, and a lobbed-shot plant as well. Just to make a clarification that the zombies are “berry” unaware that Blastberry Vine has loads of surprises in store for them.

Pokra

SUN COST: 175
RECHARGE: 7

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 60

PLANT FOOD POWER: Damage
FAMILY: Spear-mint

Pokras deliver piercing, zombie-slowing jabs that speed up to a crescendo and a powerful spike launch, then they rest momentarily before starting again.

Pokra seems like a trustworthy ally to have by your side, but just you wait; she’ll backstab you the first chance she gets. Figuratively and literally.

Imp Pear

SUN COST: 0
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
Imp Indigestion: 10

PLANT FOOD POWER: Zombies Imped
FAMILY: Ail-mint

Imp Pear turns zombies into Imps. He sure makes a noble sacrifice just so other people can enjoy their life.

Have you ever heard of the concept in people's beliefs where when you die, you become someone else? Well, it seems Crazy Dave unknowingly took that concept one little step further when making Imp Pear. Which may be questionable, since he despises Imps. Unless this "Crazy Dave" fella was an Imp-poster.

Pyre Vine

SUN COST: 125
RECHARGE: 10

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 30

FLAME LENGTH: 2
SPECIAL: Warming Radius

FAMILY: Pepper-mint

A combination of Pumpkin and Jack O' Lantern.

Pyre Vine is on fire, no pun intended. Almost all the plants appreciate what he’s been doing, leaving Blastberry Vine and Jack O’ Lantern out in the cold, jealous that they didn’t think of the idea first. But of course, Pyre Vine doesn’t seem to notice, or care. With the way things are turning out for him, he’s doing just vine.

Pumpkin

SUN COST: 150
RECHARGE: 12

TOUGHNESS: 4000
PLANT FOOD POWER: Armor

FAMILY: Reinforce-mint

Pumpkins can be planted on top of other plants to provide an extra layer of armor, because basically, he wants to prove that what he learnt from Shrek can work fine for him and his allies. For some reason, he came back even though Blastberry Vine overshadowed him.

Hahahaha Scarycool Pumpkin go brr.

Ice Bloom

SUN COST: 200
RECHARGE: 25

Freeze: 5
Chill: 6

DAMAGE: 50
3x3 DAMAGE: 200

Iceblock Health: 200
FAMILY: Winter-mint

Basically just Ice-shroom at home. Special:weak zombies in 3×3 area are iceblocked when defeated

Alright, I get it, she's cute okay, even if she looks like a weird Bolling Bulb ancestor. Just chill out already!

Ultomato

SUN COST: 250
SPECIAL: Cost Efficiency

RECHARGE: 6.5
PLANT FOOD POWER: Damage

TOUGHNESS: 500
DAMAGE: 1600

FAMILY: Fila-mint

A combination of Strawburst and Tile Turnip. (At least it has it's own ability)

Special: can be planted on top of itself, mutating from green to yellow to red
Usage: costs more sun the more Ultomatoes are on the board

Considering that he was released as a last-minute edition to 2019, it sure took a while for Ultomato to ketchup with his surroundings. He's waiting for his cucumber friend to join the battle.

Dartichoke

SUN COST: 225
RECHARGE: 8.5

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 75

Special: Critical Damage
Special: Critical Damage Chance

FAMILY: Spear-mint

Dartichokes prioritize the most dangerous Zombies within the franchise, such as Wizard Zombie, Octo Zombie and FREAKIN' ROMAN HEALER!

Special: each shot has a chance to do critical damage
Usage: has a limited supply of darts, then must recharge
Dartichoke Priority Targets:
All-Star Zombie (You were expecting another Shrek joke, weren't you?
Explorer Zombie
Fisherman Zombie
Octo Zombie (GET RID OF HIM, HE'S TOO ANNOYING TO EXIST!)
Pirate Captain Zombie
Prospector Zombie
Roman Healer Zombie (Somebody grab me a gun, I can't stand it)
Treasure Yeti
Wizard Zombie (I will admit, this Zombie isn't all that BaAaAaAaD! Actually, he is...)

TBA

Shine Vine

SUN COST: 75
RECHARGE: 5

SUN PRODUCTION: Normal
Special: Stun

DAMAGE: 5
FAMILY: Enlighten-mint

Take Stunion, Blastberry Vine, Pyre Vine, Pumpkin and a Sunflower, and you got yourself a new Plant! No, wait- PopCap is gonna make more of these vine plants aren't they? (2021 Note - THEY DID)

Usage: best used on sun producer plants (Enlighten-mint rendered pointless)
Special: Second character in the game who likes breaking the Fourth Wall

Shine Vine doesn't do much to stop her fellow enemies, because she'd rather be shiny. Very shiny. She even surpasses extremely shiny. Perhaps a bit too shiny. But in all seriousness, if it's necessary, she'll punch you to where the sun doesn't shine. She also enjoys chasing rainbows. She's always chasing rainbows.

Gumnut

SUN COST: 125
RECHARGE: 12

Gum Health: 8000
Gum Health Boost: 300

PLANT FOOD POWER: A Stickier Situation
FAMILY: Reinforce-mint

Gumnuts put zombies into Sticky Situations, telling them to "Chew on THIS", pinning them in place and causing them to block other zombies behind them. They could just go around the blocked trail, but zombies are allergic to common sense.

Special: stronger zombies form stronger barriers
Usage: likes to screw with any Gargantuars and Football Mechs who try to destroy the gum

"I only chew Steamed ham-flavored gum," exudes Gumnut. "Steamed Ham and salt." He sure is prepared for an unforgettable luncheon.

Tumbleweed

SUN COST: 50
RECHARGE: 5.5

DAMAGE: 15
Special: Multi-shot

Special: Knockback
RANGE: Straight

FAMILY: Appease-mint

A ball of tumbling trouble straight from Dumb ol Texas.

Special: set aflame by Torchwood

Call him Sage. He's made of Sage, he IS a Sage. He also met Dr. Zomboss in the Western era who was going around saying that his name means "Dr. Zeng" in Chinese. "Pretty sure it doesn't." Says Tumbleweed.

Olive Pit

SUN COST: 175
RECHARGE: 7

Special: Pit Capacity
Special: Chew Speed

FAMILY: Contain-mint

Olive Pits drill into the ground and wait to consume zombies that lack enough intelligence to walk over them. Considering that these shuffling fools live in the city, shouldn't they know that manholes exist? Guess it doesn't matter, Zomboss and his cronies just don't really get the "hole" truth.

Usage: can swallow multiple zombies at a time
Special: spits out zombie-slowing olive oil

He's living in an Olive Pit of Despair.

Puffball

SUN COST: 150
RECHARGE: 20

Special: Poison
Stun: 3

FAMILY: Ail-mint

Puffballs explode when planted, stunning and poisoning zombies in three columns because why not?

Usage: repeated Puffball explosions add to the poison

Puffball gets really puffed up whenever someone jokes about him. He's a serious ball of poison and it's only a matter of time before there's not mushroom that's not covered in Puffballs blobs of goop.

Explode-o-Vine

SUN COST: 150
RECHARGE: 10

TOUGHNESS: 1500
DAMAGE: 900

PLANT FOOD POWER: Armor
Special: Knockback

FAMILY: Bombard-mint

Dump Pumpkin, Blastberry Vine, Pyre Vine, Shine Vine, Bombard-mint and a whole lotta exploding plants in the oven, set the timer for under 70 and over 68 minutes and once the oven explodes, you get THIS thing that was possibly gonna become Burnade.

Usage: can be planted on top of non-vine plants

In the logic of the cartoon universe, only female characters have eyelashes. But when you put them on someone like THIS plant, the flaws start rolling in. Despite being a male, Explode-o-Vine was embarrassed when some plants saw him dating a female vine plant and thought that Explode-o-Vine was LGBT, from the looks of his eyelashes. Explode-o-Vine wasn't happy with the situation that people thought that he was a girl just because of the eyelashes. Don't judge by appearances, or else you're gonna blow someone up. Literally.

Murkadamia Nut

SUN COST: 100
RECHARGE: 13

TOUGHNESS: 2500
Special: Murk Health

Special: 100
PLANT FOOD POWER: Armor

Special: 0.3
FAMILY: Conceal-mint

Murkadamia Nuts are defensive shadow plants who, when powered, grow delicious purple jelly murk to damage attacking zombies.

Usage: damaged murk regrows over time

Should the wobbly jelly bounce off Imp's and other launched zombies? Yes it should. But it just goes to show that PopCap is not using their powers to their full potential. Aw, nuts! Let's just go back to bouncing around in Murkadamia Nut's Jell-O Castle.

Turkey-pult

SUN COST: 150
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 10

Turkey Level: 1
FAMILY: Arma-mint

Enter a Chinese Restaurant. You then order one Zoybean Pod covered in a Cabbage-pult with a bunch of Thanksgiving turkeys, into a pot with stocks of tofu and you get Turkey-pult. A plant that tries tofu-ool zombies into not going gobble gobble gobble on the player's brains'.

We already got Murkadamia Nut, and with that, Turkey-pult decided to see what it would be like if the two of them switched places. The results were Murkey-pult, that lobs delicious jellies, trapping zombies inside of them and Turkeydamia Nut, who uses Tofu Turkeys to block off on evil chefs. Thanksgiving is a time for being thankful for stuff, and it made both Turkey-pult and Murkadamia Nut thankful that they didn't get gobble gobble gobbled up. Gobble gobble gobble gobble gobble gobble gobble gobble gobble (x3235166456921550) gobble.

Boingsetta

SUN COST: 150
RECHARGE: 30

TOUGHNESS: 300
ARMING TIME: 25

DAMAGE: 1000
Special: Chill

Special: 75
FAMILY: Winter-mint

Boingsetta is a rather cutie pie, who likes to show off her propeller-style move and icy powers. She also attempts to freeze the ice, and because of her cuteness, she leaves Ice Bloom out in the cold.

Usage: heavily damages octopi (Correction, PopCap!), surfboards & gravestones (R.I.P. Gravebusters business)
Usage: destroys chickens & weasels but doesn't gobble gobble gobble up Tofu Turkeys. And that's a good thing.
Special: affects whole board on planting, single lane afterward

She looks like the kinda plant that can easily be stepped on, launching zombies in the air and having them get frozen in the process. It would be ironic if zombies thought that she was hot, but she's not technically cold blooded either.

Headbutter Lettuce

SUN COST: 175
RECHARGE: 7

TOUGHNESS: 900
DAMAGE: 100

PLANT FOOD POWER: Damage
Special: Stun

FAMILY: Enforce-mint

Kernel-pult and Bonk Choy thrown in a dumpster, with a pinch of Kiwibeast attached to the recipe and there ya have it! Another random plant that may not be original, but is definitely worth collecting!

Usage: resists damage with high health

Headbutter Lettuce's favorite game is heads or tails. He usually gets heads because he doesn't have a tail. But sometimes he butter not forget that.

Hocus Crocus

SUN COST: 200
RECHARGE: 20

TOUGHNESS: 300
MAGIC RECHARGE: 15

DAMAGE: 100
PLANT FOOD POWER: Zombies "Magicked"?

FAMILY: Enchant-mint (Well, duh)

Hocus Crocuses focus on teleporting zombies to the other side of the lawn more times than one, making everyone focus more on HER then the Hocus Crocus of yesterday. (Thyme Warp)

Special:teleportation power allows zombies to cause minor damage, which doesn't really have a purpose, so don't focus on that
Hocus Crocus wants you to focus but how are you gonna focus if Hocus Crocus is focusing on saying her name really strangely? It's a whole different story with essays. Hocus Crocus is focusing too much on her personal focusing to focus about her essay."

Stickybomb Rice

SUN COST: 225
RECHARGE: 10

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 40

Special: Bomb Chain Multiplier
PLANT FOOD POWER: Damage

FAMILY: Arma-mint

Welcome to Crazy Dave's rice fields. On your left, you'll a Stickybomb Rice. Stickybomb Rice put zombies into blatant sticky situations where the seeds also explode. Shoutout to Bombergranate and Gumnut in the crowd.

Special: exploding sticky bombs trigger other sticky bombs just like regular explosions do
Stickybomb Rice frequently visits the Heian Age to harvest rice for her detonating ammo. Unfortunately, Samurai Zombies have constantly tried to take Stickybomb Rice for themselves so they could practice some explosives because they weren't very talented at handling swords. Except all that did was burn down the dojo and the entire RICE FIELD NEXT TO IT started causing a chain reaction of explosions. Thus, that idea blew up straight away.

Gloom Vine

SUN COST: 125
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 250
DAMAGE: 45

RANGE: 3x3
FAMILY: Conceal-mint

Gloom Vine is a Moonflower that only takes up ONE SPACE instead of a 3x3 area. He powers shadow plants and attacks in plenty different directions, making all claims that he's the NEW Gloom-shroom in town. He also goes by his ironic name because he's always feeling blue, if ya know what I mean.

Special:powers shadow plants within just like a regular Moonflower pre-2017 style
Gloom Vine is just as gloomy as his cousin from the first classic Plants vs. Zombies game, but he's even gloomier that he had to step into Gloom-shroom's shoes since he couldn't be allowed back in the second installment in the main series. It makes no sense why Gloom-shroom was not allowed back in but Doom-shroom WAS once Boom Balloon Flower went around. Even if Doom-shroom is just a balloon.

Draftodil

SUN COST: 100
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 15

Special: Slowdown Fliers
AREA: Lane

FAMILY: Contain-mint

Draftodils are the 2021 Next-Gen Blovers that can be used more times than once. Sure, that may be great, but like every good-looking plant it has its damn limitations that keeps it from being put to good use. Original Blover superior.

Usage: BRIEFLY stuns non-flying zombies
Special: air cannon knocks critters, Imps and shrunken zombies off the lawn
<MISSING>_<DRAFTODIL>_<ALMANAC>

(This is clearly just a draft of the final almanac entry. GET IT!? DRAFT!?)

Boom Balloon Flower

SUN COST: 350
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: 575

PLANT FOOD POWER: Damage
FAMILY: Bombard-mint

Boom Balloon Flowers spawn balloons with rapidly explosive energy. They make look colourful and so is their explosions, but just because it's pretty doesn't mean it's deadly.

Special: HEY LOOK IT'S DOOM-SHROOM!!!!
Boom Balloon Flower sells the most pumped up balloons during the span of Neighborville's Carnival Days. The secret is that they aren't truthfully filled with helium, but rather explosive energy, like your average Angry Birds TNT or your regular old underwater mine. AND THAT'S WHY YOU DON'T WANNA POP THEM!! HEY I SEE YOU OVER THERE BY THE NINJA CLUB SPEAR-MINT, I AIN'T TRUSTIN' YA!!

Pea Vine

SUN COST: 125
RECHARGE: 5

TOUGHNESS: 300
Damage Boost: 1.5

DAMAGE: 20
FAMILY: Appease-mint

At this point I'm not even gonna talk about this. This... this is just pure stupidity. We don't need to re-explain everything whenever a vine plant is introduced, we already know what they're capable of doing and the fact that they suck. In this case however, Pea Vine shoots.

Usage: boosts <GUESS THE NAME> Family plants

Pea Vine boosts Appease-mint Family plants, and he himself is an Appease-mint Family plant, so therefore... hang on... don't tell me. Don't... DON'T TELL... DON'T TELL ME DON'T TELL ME I CAN DO THIS!!!

Inferno

SUN COST: 200
RECHARGE: 25

DAMAGE: 22
PLANT FOOD POWER: Damage

Special: Tornado Duration
FAMILY: Pepper-mint

Infernos swirl up infuriating fire tornadoes, taking zombies for a little spin alongside the flames of hell. He's literally just a 2021 version of the scrapped Burnade that no-one cares about anymore.

Special: immune to <GUESS-THE-WEATHER>
Special: warms nearby plants like all the other fire guys do
Not gonna lie, "Inferno" is actually a very cool name for a plant like him, along with his design. But saying that he looks and sounds "cool", is gonna trigger some irony.

Others

The following below is a collection of uncategorized plants and zombies and random stuff in-game.

Marigold

Marigolds give you tons of cash in which you have no clue on what to do with.

Reasons why Crazy Dave keeps Marigold locked up in the Zen Garden is because he's worried that people will come along and use her to make them rich. Marigold really wants to go and join the battle with the other plants but Dave won't let her as she might get swiped by a greedy someone. So now, Marigold is basically stuck indoors year-round.

Backwards Peashooter

SUN COST: None
RECHARGE: None (Pre-placed)

TOUGHNESS: 300
DAMAGE: Rare Chance of Happening

RANGE: Straightly Backwards
PLANT FOOD POWER: None

FAMILY: Appease-mint

A Peashooter facing the wrong direction, who’s only purpose is to just waste space on your lawn.

Special: Unlikely chance that it'll attack zombies behind it

Backwards Peashooter has a very bad eyesight, which actually makes a lot of sense, regarding the fact that he cannot tell which way he should look when the zombies are approaching. He does have a pair of glasses for this occasion, but he ain’t risking putting them on just so everyone can call him Pea-Brain and Smarty Pea or something like that.

Imitater

SUN COST: ???
RECHARGE: ???

Imitater gives you two for the price of one. They can imitate other plants in order to steal attention away from them.

Special: can imitate any other plant

Truthfully, Imitater's long-known artwork known as the "Potato Stuck in a Box" masterpiece ended up being exposed for it's unoriginality. It turns out, Imitater loves to imitate EVERYTHING in order to become just as popular as others. And with that said, it was noticeable that Imitater plagiarized some OTHER artwork that was already considered famous. Now all Imitater wants to do is imitate himself into that particular person so he can keep his fame alive.

Treasure Yeti

TOUGHNESS: Dense
SPEED: Basic

A rare and curious creature, who hasn't been in the crosshairs since 2018.

Speed Details: Likes exercising whenever he feels like it
Special: Replaces himself with robot decoys as a last-attempt to escape

He played the Wampa in the 1980 Sci-Fi flick, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. The only reason why he ended up in the film was because he was the only yeti risking to lose an arm.

Cardio Zombie

TOUGHNESS: Hardened
SPEED: GIVE IT ALL YA GOT!

Advances to a set spot on the board, then tosses HUGE buffing brains at other zombies until he's chased away by an angry mob of plants because his treadmill is taking up space on their lawn.

Cardio Zombie is more of an outdoor person than an indoor person. (So you can say that he's basically the opposite of me)

Z-Mech

TOUGHNESS: Hardened
SPEED: Creeper

Deploys the most disastrous things you can ever think up of. He also likes to break the fourth wall, literally and shake dat booty in front of the camera.

Jealous of the Gargantuars being the ones always causing the brutal damage, the Imp quickly established the Z-Mech. The Gargantuars watching in the distance have forever speculated that it would be imp-possible for an imp to pull off mighty destruction. Well, now that the Z-mech has tested the gadgets and software a few times, the Gargantuars are doing whatever they can to apologize and mech up with the Imp.

#caketank

TOUGHNESS: Hardened
SPEED: Creeper

  1. caketank advances to a set position on the lawn, then emits massive shocking birthday surprises such as Jesters, Imps and collectables. It's layers were inspired by ogres such as Shrek because ogres have layers as well as onions.

The secret to how #caketank became one of the most popular trends throughout Neighborville, was because he more or less CHEATED in order to become famous. He even got attacked by Twitter, because they found out that #caketank made fake accounts so that regulars could think that this thing was popular. Now all that #caketank is, is a cake-tastrophe.
