Your ideas are nice. Interestingly, I actually came up with the Sunflower idea awhile back

I would recommend your organize your ideas as a blog post. That way, if it gets popular enough, others can see it in the trending blogs list. It will also allow you to come back to it later if you want to post something else to your almanac.
