Adventure Mode

Adventure Mode is a game mode introduced in the 6.6.1 update of Plants vs. Zombies 2, along with Arena. It contains all eleven worlds inside. After pressing Play, the player will be directed to a screen with Adventure Mode on the left, Penny's Pursuit in the middle, and Arena Mode on the right. The player can then choose which mode to play in. During normal gameplay, the player can press the 'back' button (located at top-left) when viewing the worlds to return to the game mode selection screen.

There is also an electrical portal/vortex at the end, seemingly a 'paradox,' as if time has 'cracked.' When tapped, it will shake and some electricity will appear to crackle around it.

Trivia

  • Before the 7.4.1 update there were 372 levels (Including the expansion levels) but after the 7.4.1 update there were 312 levels due to the expansion levels being removed and placed in Travel Log.
  • The world order used to be AE > PS > WW > FF > DA > BWB > FC > LC > NMT > JM > MD, but was changed in the 8.9.1 update
