Blooming Stars (星花怒放; pinyin: Xīng Huā Nù Fàng) is the eleventh level of Vasebreaker in Plants vs. Zombies: Original Edition.
Origins
The name came from the four-word Chinese idiom "心花怒放", using "blooming flowers" as an analogy for "extremely happy". The word for "heart ("心") is swapped out with the word for "star" ("星") with a similar pronunciation. It references the abundance of Starfruits and Chompers in this level.
Strategies
- As long as you get some Chompers early, let them eat some zombies and patiently wait for them to swallow (turbo button can be used to speed up the process), as Starfruits are not efficient enough to kill an angered Newspaper Zombie or sometimes hoardes of Conehead Zombies.
- Stack up as many Newspaper Zombies as possible in the same tile by beginning from the furthest vase in the back and squash them altogether in case you get Squash early in the level and had to be planted before the seed packet expired.
