Swinging Zombie is the third unique zombie encountered in Begonia Boulevard in Plants vs. Zombies 3. They come swinging in from the sky into the third column. They can come in normal, Conehead, and Buckethead variants.
Origins
He is very similar in behavior to Swashbuckler Zombie and Relic Hunter Zombie from Plants vs. Zombies 2.
Strategies
- Umbrella Leaf can bounce them away, causing them to fail landing.
- Like all zombies except Gargantuar, any instant-kill plant such as Squash will one-shot them.
- The same applies for powerups, though that applies to all zombies.

Trivia
- Older trailers for the game show Bungee Zombie as part of the zombie hoard, though the design similarities suggest they were replaced with the Swinging Zombie as Bungee Zombie has never appeared in a public release of the game.
- That doesn't mean he's scrapped completely as maybe Popcap may add him in another update to the soft-launch.
