About
The 25 first levels would be in the Player's House, as a callback to PvZ 1. Five levels on each "stage", the 5th being an Ultimate Battle (like the X-10 levels on PvZ 1).
- Day (Tutorial): 4 levels + Ultimate Battle.
- Night: 4 levels + Ultimate Battle.
- Pool: 4 levels + Ultimate Battle.
- Fog: 4 levels + Ultimate Battle.
- Roof: 4 levels + Dr. Zomboss Boss Battle.
After finishing the first 25 levels, the player would unlock most of the other features of the game (just like you unlock the rest of minigames, puzzles and survival after finishing Adventure Mode in PvZ 1).
This features include:
- Other "worlds"/zones.
- Talents.
- Minigames.
- Costumes.
World Travel
PvZ takes place in the Player's House, and PvZ 2's main theme is Time Travel. In order to be a big game and having the possibility of adding more and more stuff, PvZ 4 should have a similar theme, so for the time being, I thought about traveling around the world (Each "World" in PvZ 2 is a different Era. Each "World" in PvZ 4 would be a different place).
Currency
Any game needs a way to maintain itself. Some games you have to pay to play them, and that's all (like Garden Warfare, and Plants vs. Zombies on PC), while other games are free to play, but have in-game content you can buy (like Plants vs. Zombies 2).
A lot of free to play games these days (especially shooters), and gain money via skins/costumes, which a lot of players like, and does not affect gameplay, so it doesn't make the game pay to win!
Plants vs. Zombies 4 would have costumes (WIP) like, for example, a Golden Peashooter. These "Golden" costumes wouldn't change gameplay at all, no damage increase, no faster fire rate, just like costumes in Plants vs. Zombies 2. Costumes may variate in rarity and cost, but every plant would have a Golden costume.
These Golden costumes would be legendary (the highest rarity) and thus, be the most expensive ones (100 ingots), but have amazing graphics and new visual effects. I know it'd be cool to have them free like in PvZ 2, but I'm sure it's better paying for costumes, than paying for plants. And unlike said plants in PvZ 2, you wouldn't need to pay for the costumes, you would pay to get more ingots and get them faster, but you can still get them by yourself eventually!
Gold
Gold coins are worth 50 gold.
They would be the most "common" currency in Plants vs. Zombies 4, and can be easily obtained in almost any level!
If you're lucky enough, a zombie will drop one after being defeated... And you can also get one for every remaining Lawnmower! (You'd get 50 gold per Lawnmower like in PvZ 1, for a total of 250 gold! Not like PvZ 2 that only gives 10 per LM for a total of 50).
You can buy some talents with coins that you got in the game.
They are NOT purchasable.
Gold ingots are worth 1.000 gold.
If you wish to, you can use 1.000 gold to get 1 gold ingot. But once you melted your gold into an ingot, you can't change it back to coins.
With these, you can buy costumes in the store, the most rare and expensive ones being Golden costumes, worth 100 ingots each.
You CAN purchase these if you want to get some costumes quicker, but you can still get them by just playing the game.
