I'm going to get a lot of hate for this! Here, I'll be listing the clone plants of the game. However, things like Sunflower and Twin Sunflower don't count, as their purpose is to be an upgrade, not a clone. Also, I'll be trying to leave out 2 plants from PvZ 1 that are clones (ex: Cabbage-pult2.png --- Kernel-pult2.png). Plus, Plant Food abilities won't affect any stance, but will be mentioned regardless.

1. Peashooter2.png --- Snow Pea2.png Fire Peashooter2.png Split Pea2.png Pea Pod2.png Puff-shroom2.png

Explanation: Basically, it's an ice based one, a fire based one, one that shoots backwards like Repeater2.png, one that can be stacked, and a short range free one that lasts for a limited time. Though I will contradict both snow, fire, and puff as their plant food abilities do something different (Snow Pea2.png, not so much, puff activates all others and resets the clock), as well as Fire Peashooter2.png warming plants.

2. Sunflower2.png --- Primal Sunflower2.png

Explanation: 25 more sun produced, 25 more sun cost.

3. Wall-nut2.png --- Pea-nut2.png Endurian2.png Primal Wall-nut2.png

Explanation: One is just an attacking one, one is a close attacking one, and one plants faster, but 25 sun more.

4. Potato Mine2.png --- Squash2.png Lava Guava2.png Chili Bean2.png Tangle Kelp2.png Primal Potato Mine2.png

Explanation: No start up one with 25 more sun, like Squash2.png, but leaves a puddle of damage afterward and does some damage on contact for 50 more sun, one with a lane stun effect, as well as 25 more sun, water version, and one that charges quicker, and is more sun. However Primal Potato Mine2.png does have a 3x3 radius.

5. Iceberg Lettuce2.png --- Stunion2.png

Explanation: Stuns all in 1 tile instead of just one zombie, 25 sun. Stallia2.png is not included as it slows them down, and is in a 3x3 radius.

6. Snapdragon2.png --- Cold Snapdragon2.png

Explanation: One is fire, one is ice, 'nuff said.

7. Cherry Bomb2.png --- Grapeshot2.png

Explanation: Ricochet effect added.

8. Cob Cannon2.png --- Banana Launcher2.png

Explanation: Takes up one tile, less damage.

9. Starfruit2.png --- Rotobaga2.png

Explanation: Shoots diagonally instead of star directions.

10. Gloom-shroom1.png --- Phat Beet2.png

Explanation: Less sun, less damage, every 5 hits does a critical hit.

11. Garlic2.png --- Sweet Potato2.png

Explanation: More along the lines of opposites, one has significantly more health and sun cost.

12. Hypno-shroom2.png --- Pumpkin Witch2.png

Explanation: One is close range, one is infinitely used. plant Food differs.

12: Chomper2.png --- Toadstool2.png

Explanation: Bigger range, produces sun for every eaten zombie. plant food is different though.

13. Cattail2.png --- Homing Thistle2.png

Explanation: Almost the exact same, one is water based, one is land.

14. Fire Gourd2.png --- Jack O' Lantern2.png

Explanation: Near identical, though sun cost and plant food is different

Combination Clones

2. Split Pea2.png --- Peashooter2.png Repeater2.png

6. Endurian2.png --- Wall-nut2.png Spikeweed2.png

7. Celery Stalker2.png --- Wall-nut2.png Split Pea2.png (This one is more based on action than actually replicating the 2 plants stats.)

8. Pea-nut2.png --- Do I even need to say it? It's in the name!

9. Cactus2.png --- Spikeweed2.png Laser Bean2.png

Semi-clones
