Hybrid plants are fusions of two or more plants into one, originating from the fanmade mod Plants vs. Zombies: Hybrid Version, which were later ported over into Plants vs. Zombies: Original Edition.
The abilities of Hybrid plants are typically a combination of the plants that make up the hybrid plant. Some Hybrids, such as Zombie Wall-nut and Treasure Buster, can also be partly made of something else that isn't a plant at all.
