The first thing that you should do is to observe the lawn's layout first before choosing your seeds. This is the most common error in most players. Check the patterns of ice floes and pre-placed frozen zombies and plants. Take a Hot Potato with you if there are tons of frozen zombies but choose first which one to defrost. Next, observe the Ice Floe. If Ice floes are only placed on second and fourth columns (that is the second column drags zombies down to third and fourth column pulls up zombies to the third) and the case handles Gargantuars, place all Winter Melons on odd number columns. Torchwoods go below them respectively (on row with ice floes) to keep them warm. If possible, use plant food. If it happens there are Weasel Hoarders, have a Cold Snapdragon or Fume-shroom by default. Primal Wall-nut also helps you out since it can withstand smashes from Gargs. Assuming gargs only and no Weasels, a couple of Phat Beets can easily pin them down. Place them on rows with ice floes since they send Gargs down to odd numbered rows. Levels with ice floes that pull zombies to the topmost row or bottommost row, Stunion, Hot Potato, Primal Wall-nut, Primal Potato Mines are best setup here along with sun producing plants, Cold Snapdragon and Fume-shroom. Normally, what I do is stack them up by inserting a Primal Wall-nut on the top, or bottommost ice floe that would push all zombies. Watch out for Weasel hoarders. If they appear place Cold Snapdragons adjacent to lawn mowers and ice floes. This can help you out as you build sun-production and establish a defense on the latter part. The following are the plants that you will need the most Torchwood (very important) Fume-shroom or Laser Bean Winter Melon Cold Snapdragon Lava Guava Cherry Bomb Snow Pea (if you wanna go hardcore, pair with Cold Snap) Phat Beet Hot Potato Power Lily Imitater Primal Wall-nut Primal Potato Mine Puff-shroom (Yeti Imps arriving at the beginning) Tile Turnip (higher levels) Primal Peashooter Stunion Chili Bean Hope this helps.

Yo, about that edit of mine you recently undid on Peashooter:

I'd like to say that's a complete misunderstanding of wikitext on my part. I was trying to shorten links by writing [[Text (stuff)|]] as opposed to [[Text (stuff)|Text]]. Well, it turns out the first parser automatically converts to the second when an edit is made (effectively nullifying the change). It also, like other wikitext functions, does not work in galleries.
