Potentially Unfair Blocking on the Annoying Orange Wiki

I've been blocked twice from the Annoying Orange Wiki without so much as a warning, which I don't think is fair, since I never meant to cause disruption. Well admittedly I got a bit hasty, but the user I got into an edit war with was in my eyes, just as disruptive as that user found me. Honestly I got irritated with their hot headed behaviour, and their lack of interest to just cool down, rather than get into what one of your fellow administrators has described as being a heated edit war. I was actually trying to help as you can see here.

Yes, some of my edits did violate a policy or two, but the policies weren't very clear, so naturally I had no idea I was doing anything wrong. I never meant harm, but this this the second time that I've been blocked, and I wasn't given message wall access, so I can't appeal my block. My understanding is that the administrator that blocked me had violated a couple of policies themselves. It did say here that administrators should warn users before blocking them which is what the administrator should have done in the first place. They has blocked me twice, and both times I haven't had the opportunity to access my message wall. If they had a problem with what I was doing, they should have warned me first. Also here they accused me of doing something that I did a week ago, that shouldn't have affected their stance.

Being blocked once is more than enough for me to get over a debate as to whether things should be categorised culinary or botanically. I don't even recall breaking any policies the second time round. The other user was the one who was edit warring the second time, and I was the one who was trying to stop them from starting another episode. But no, that user lost their temper and that administrator noticed, and now both of us have been blocked for two weeks. I'm a pretty relaxed guy most the time who is usually capable of keeping a level head. But being blocked twice without any opportunity to express the situation from my point of view, is like a stab in the back for me. I'm not asking you to unblock me, but I'm not happy with the way these blocks were handled, and I was hoping that maybe you'd be more sympathetic and lenient towards what has happened here. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 03:19, April 18, 2016 (UTC)

Now in that thread, a user by thy username of Pinkgirl234 made some grammatical/spelling errors in the response she submitted on said thread. You corrected these errors. Now you're probably wondering why this is such a big deal? Well let me further explain... You then went on to type yet another sentence stating, "You're still a hypocrite for saying poor sentence structure is problem when I have made it clear that you have no right to talk about bad grammar." Now there was one thing wrong with this sentence, so I corrected it for you, as you did with that other one you did. All I did was add an "a", to make the sentence make sense. And the result of this? I get a mere "ugh" in response. This symbolizes the annoyance of having that sentence corrected at. Why did I address this to thou? I just wanted to point out the irony that is seen by this. Now I will comprehend if you only corrected the grammar of that specific paragraph because the creator of said paragraph was your "senpai", Pinkgirl234. Though still, the irony is right there in the context. Be free to correct anything I've said, namely my use of quotation marks. That's my only flaw with English. You can rebuttal all you want to, though note I won't be taken down by assertive talk. Also keep in mind that I am native to English language. Sincerely, thy Snappy Dragon of 717.

Hey, Brainulator. I was not sure to whom I should address this to, so I went to the beaurocrats and...yeah.

Let's get on with it. I was wondering if the galleries in PvZ Heroes should have the images from Basic Packs moved to the "Old" section.

In the Heroes pages, there are two sections. Gallery and Old. I noticed that the Squash page had a photo of the Squash on the Basic Pack, back when coins were available. The only problem is, those coins are removed as of today.

Sure enough, more images of units on the Card Pack were in their respective pages, but I think we should move the images to the Old section. It wouldn't take long, but more people working on it might help and I thought I'd ask if I could before I risked "vandalism" accusations.

You should've known that despite the screen size of different devices, the flexibility is still the same because the WHOLE PAGE is scaled based on the screen's current size, not each part of the page is scaled separately. I mean, I checked that using a goddamn Desktop XL, and it still looks awful. Whatever, gonna change it back. For now, I'm just gonna undo stuff. If you wanna change the display of the stats do it after then. (If you were to change the stats, please keep them as closest to the Almanac's stats as possible, like not "Sun", but "Sun Cost". Also, don't abuse colspan, rowspan as it f**ks up mobile and makes it harder to check the values of each level. It might be easier to see on your device, but it's WAY. HARDER. to see stuff on a normal desktop and even worse, tablet. The whole point of this is for the readers, especially the modders, to easily identify the stats of each level, and with as what it is now, it's already clean on all devices except mobile. It might get inconvenient on huge desktops, but it still looks decent, better than messing up with all the other devices except for yours. Having each row being uneven is horrible, especially for mainspace stuff. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ๑۩۞۩๑ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Real problem here is more complicated ones like the Electric Peashooter template, as when you reduce the width, the whole thing looks messed up, making it harder to compare the charts. We can remove the break tags though, if it makes it better on huge desktops as that doesn't make much difference to the other devices. (except with the "Toughness" section of some tables still mess up stuff here when there are no break tags). A table looks best if each line of the table equals to eachother. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ๑۩۞۩๑ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
