Got all of them

So, I got all of the prem plants....I've been thinking, why do people kept seeing PvZ2 as something to get what they want IAPs instead of a fun game. They have forgotten what the games are suppose to do. I mean, seriously, dragging childrens into the IAP issue (I'm referring to Shroomy05). Is it wrong, to make more money to make the company stay alive?

And Blaze06h, Ugh, I don't even know about his issue with Popcap. Hating them for laying off the original creator, why can't he just ask them why they lay off this Fan person instead of just concluding to his own theory. Regarding about your message

Yeah. I know that is why I explained him that, we already said to everyone to not make too much attention since it may end up horribly wrong (Like how happened to another games)

I am glad you do not want that to happen, and yeah shroomy is kinda exaggerating and begging I do not support begging since that is not the way how you should ask people, I just do not get why people can not enjoy a game, the reason of modding (Most of the people does it for that) is only for fun (Or to learn how to do new stuff in the game), I once replaced Sun-Shroom sprite with Cherry Bomb It was really funny to see, that is an example of a funny mod, however shroomy wants to hack the game rather than mod it just for fun, he wanted to use premiums for free and such, which is not same as thing as modding (Basically he is stealing money), and I do not wanna help too many people since they just beg you how to do stuff, and it is kinda annoying, I only show things to a few people not everyone like Buzzy, 1Zulu, Maguel for example, people that I can trust.

PS: I was only talking about the unused/hidden menu I am not going to teach this to anybody since if done in a similar way it can activate other "stuff", you may know what I mean.

The things he mentioned I mean, CheatMenu and such, And I know them from a good time ago, I am not going to show everything to everyone, by the way there is no need to keep explaining me about that since I am fully aware about what would happen (Reason why I do tell everyone about why I do not share almost anything), the only thing I "released" was very basic stuff nothing complex that anyone with HxD can do and nothing that could make PopCap losse something. I am also developing a game, which made me get a lot of knowelde about the OBB files plus I did made mods for various games too.

The people with who I share stuff do not know everything that I know, they just know the things that everyone else on the wiki does, except 1Zulu, Johnnytuan and Manguel since they are an exception since they do have knoweldge from their own. regarding again about the insecurity issues, there is still people who likes to show things but I can not stop them, I do hope they stop if they do not then I will have to tell them to stop since we should only keep all of this things on the wiki, I do think the Chinese PopCap was aware about hacking, and instead of making only one .obb they made a few separated ones and plus some things were moved to the apk making it harder to mod it however they had to reduce quality in some things in order to keep it allright (Only in Android since IIRC IOS apps has a different kind of storage),

I will, the game is kinda like Grand Theft Auto 2 or 1 (The camera style and some things), except it will have a lot of new things, like changing clothes, dinamic lights, better police detection system and such and obiously cars :P

The game is still very WIP since the coder is still trying to chosse what kind of coding he would use, we started with Java but he said C++ was easier so for now we moved to it, he was also thinking about releasing it on android first to check if it get famous and then if we get enough money (Fair In-App purchases unlike some games ._., or also donations) we will work on a 3D version and probably we will probably release it for consoles too and then I dunno, we should first finish it before thinking about the future xD

Dark Ages - Night 18 guide

Did you got able to see the guide I made?

Okey I got able to pass it again, the main trouble is the first wave because after it, everything is easier, since you get a good amount of sun from the Sun-Shrooms

1. Now you just froze it two times!

This is the last thing you will see

The strategy I used for the level was kinda random-ish, so I also made another that is more easy to follow.

At first plant sun-shrooms like this, when you plant the third Sun-shroom the first zombie will appear, freeze it until you get the same amount of shrooms in the image.

Now stop planting them and start planting Kernel-puls, also remember to freeze the first zombie over and over until you get able to kill it. When you get able to plant 3 Kernel-pults, more zombies will appear and a conehead will also appear, freeze it and plant two more kernel-pults, now jester will appear in a lane in where a conehead is, freeze it, and then plant a fume-shroom in the same lane, try to not let him kill your Fume-shroom.

5. Necro--- nuh!

Now a damn wizard will appear, all you can do is try to have a better defense in other places while also freezing the wizard, kernel-pult after a while will kill it, however Plant Food on kernel also helps.

When the Necromacy ends (When the zombies are already walking) use Plant Food on Kernel-pult, now continue planting like the image in the top. affter the storm passed (All zombies killed or well most of them), the next wave of zombies will start, 3 kings will appear, use plant food again on kernel and continue planting.

After a few mins you should have something like this, and this also remember to freeze the kings so they do not make to much trouble. after killing a few zombies, a wizard and another king will appear just try to copy the image from the top and you should be able to pass the level. Also remember to use plant food on kernel pult when you are in trouble.

The end score (Sun, Plant Food, Powerups and money untouched :P)

Turn off the internet and place this file into Android/data/com.ea.game.pvz2_row/files/No_Backup. Open the game without internet on and get these plants with 109 Gems each. This is not my hack and I don't know how to reduce the cost. Also there is Toadstool for Gems too. Have fun :)

My method involves editing the pp.dat file itself and adding in the costumes to the list of costumes. Obviously this requires knowledge of how to edit that file, which would frankly take me too much time to explain.

I believe you could also edit the magento file so the costumes become available in the store, but that's more work.

The easiest way might be to wait for the next release of my tool, which will include RTON editing features, so you can mess with the pp.dat or the magento file yourself.

Arguement

Firstly, I'm posting this here because I don't want the thread flooding with off topic posts, or it being a minefield of us just arguing. Anyways, I have a couple reasons as to why they might have not put the note in.

1) Thyme constraints (Damn it, I made another pun)

They may have have not had enough time put the note in the world or even make it, because they had to compose a lot more music, and code the new music gimmick, which is probably a pain in the butt. I also bet a lot of the developers of this game do multiple things, so they were probably more focused on the gameplay then some rather minor details.

2) Budget cuts

I'm sure this has been already stated, but it may not have been in there budget to include a note. I'm pretty sure that if they did put in a note, it would be at the cost of a plant, a zombie, a level, or something like that. I'm sure that if there actually were budget cuts, they must have elected what to cut. And it's not like they can't add the note back in later.

3) They forgot

This would be a very stupid reason, but they could've just simply forgot to put the note in. It's not a big thing gameplay wise, as if they did indeed forgot the note, they must have had their focuses elsewhere.

As for the Lost City Zomboss Podium, Lost City part 2 just feels extremely rushed to me, so they may have just rushed to complete that. The time between Lost City Part 1 & 2 was extremely short (4 weeks to be exact). And since we've seen the NMT beta (which was pretty much the same as the soft release, except for some glitches here or there.), We can assume that there may also be similar beta for past versions, that only staff members of PopCap get to use, so they may have had lets say 2-3 weeks to develop Lost City part 2, and they could've just left the Zomboss podium to the wayside. Though I concede that the Zomboss podium is more essential to gameplay than a note.

Anyway it may have happened though, these are just minor things. While I agree the chinese version may get a better Zomboss podium, they also have more room to work with as they use pre 1.7 based designs.

I also apologize if I sound condescending, it's genuinely something I work on and struggle with. I didn't mean to be a prick, though I admit it was a pipedream to attempt to stop the whole wiki from complaining. I'm just butthurt.

Finally, I want to leave on a light-hearted joke. Your method of blowing off steam is highly inefficient. That would require me going to the emergency room or dying, and I couldn't do it every time I wanted to blow off steam, unless I wanted my head to fall off my neck. Ah, ok

Yeah, it does sadden me a little bit that they're removing some of these features, but I'm not one to complain because it doesn't affect the gameplay, and that's the main thing I care about in a game. But that's just personal preference. What I originally posted is the kinda stuff that you feel when you're in a fight or flight response, and you just want to think (and rather sloppily) on your feet. But I can take these experiances and crappy things I do as life lessons and get something out of them, and have them better prepare for a future that I can possibly have, if I can get over the habit of arguing with random people over the internet, and if I be more open minded and professional.

I could, but I'm not sure how to do that, or if that's possible. PopCap can get away with it because they mass-distribute the code of the code the game. If they feel like making a change on a whim, they could, and can keep it forever. We have to download the stuff from their servers, so when we download an update our stuff would match their stuff. Which is why I think in order for the mods to stick. You'd have to hack into their download servers, replace the file the give to you with your own. And I'm pretty sure that's not legal :P. I'm not saying it's impossible for the mods to stick, but highly unlikely given my theory.

RE: Hacking Troubles.

Firstly, I don't know how to get the scrapped costumes, as that requires you to edit you "pp.dat". If you don't know what thisis, your pp.dat contains all the information about your profiles, such as how many gems x profile has, how many coins y profile has, ETC. However, NOTHING in the pp.dat is ledgable at all, it all looks like garbage bytes. It is possible to edit this file, but if you make one wrong edit, ALL of your data is gone. I'm sorry, but I don't know how to do that. However, I can help you with world based seed packets.

1. Find your liveconfig.json. The liveconfig.json is the file that will contain this, and is located in the same place as your pp.dat. If you need further help in finding it, let me know. To be specific, the file is name "liveconfig.json.4.0"
2. Drag the file out of your device, and put it somewhere you can remember it (IE; The desktop, a folder for the OBB Patcher, etc.) Then open your liveconfig.json in a hex editor. I use HxD hex editor, and you proably do, too.
3. In your hex editor, search for "SeedChooserWorldBackgrounds". After that, you should see some bytes that read "0F 00" If you need a visual aid, I have a screenshot here
4. Change the "00" into  "01". Drag the liveconfig.json back into your device, and turn off the internet, and any celular connections if you have any. Everytime the game launches, it tries to download new configs for your game, so any and all live config will be removed. Therefore, you HAVE to turn internet and celular connections off while doing this (In otherwords, put it in airplane mode).

You should have world specific seed packets, but you'll need to keep in mind a few things

1) The Neon Mixtape Tour plants don't have a world specific background yet. That's coming in the 4.1.1. update.

2) If you want to acess the internet on your device, then you have to close the Plants vs. Zombies 2 app entirely. Then if you want your world based seed packets to stick, be sure to turn off the internet before opening PVZ2. I hoped this may have helped! -Ballistic Planet

What you are seeing is a common bug in hacked pp.dat files. TBH I don't know exactly how to fix it

It might be easier for me to just come up with a custom magento file that enables every single costume for purchase. That's in my to-do list

About the two previous questions

1. Sorry, but I can't really share the data of my PvZ2C because of the fact that my tablet is not rooted so I can't have access to the data files and the fact that I recently got a new one that obviously didn't have installed PvZ2C and wasn't rooted aswell. Lucky for you, I just saw someone sharing an .apk with data for 1.6.0 (not 1.6.1) with all CiTS plants (I think, I didn't install it)

2. With the same reasons above, I didn't even got to play 1.6.1 at all, so I would need to do a complicated progress with downloading 1.5.1 with full data, and switching to 1.6.1 to fully upgrade an Endurian which would take a lot of time too. I don't know but ADVENT-UR-TRON may be having 1.6.1 with Endurian at least. You just need to ask him.

Decidueye! – Dropping by to leave you a message! TALK – CONTRIBS – BLOG Simply put, I find them myself. I taught myself how to do that. I'll give you a tutorial, just because I'm nice. Firstly, in your vserions.cfg, give the file you're trying to unpack a name. In my instance, I was unpacking the 4.6.1 beta rsb, so I just called it "4.6.1beta.rsb". You can call it pretty much anything, it just has to not start a ";" or "#", otherwise it'll think you're commenting. The name also has to end in a ":". Next, you the size of the file in bytes. The easiest way to this (if you use windows, like I do) is to right click the file, and click "Properties". You should see the file size. Imput the file size into the versions.cfg, right after the file name. (for example, it'd look like "4.6.1beta.rsb: 662913024" in my case) Do not put commas inside any of the numbers, as the obbpatcher will get confused. (For example, if you do 4.6.1beta.rsb: 662,913,024, the obbpatcher will think the filesize is 662 bytes, which it clearly isn't). You can put commas after the numbers though, as that's how the obb patcher splits up and parses stuff. Now, here's where things get a little tricky. You're gonna search for "78 DA EC BD 79". This is the beginning of the section file. However, a bunch of other files use this as a header too. So try to find one that has stuff frim this screenshot above it. It won't always be right above it like it is in this file, so you may have to scroll up a bit. Just try to find the spaced out word "RTON" (it'll be separated by null bytes) and scroll down. Once you think you've found the start of the section file, take the number that's to the left of the "78 DA EC BD 79" that you searched for earlier (in this case, it's D772000, but it'll be different), and now you have to convert it from hexidecimal, to decimal. I use Windows 10's built in calculator for this, but you can pretty much use any hex to decimal site and it should work. So now, the text line should look something like this: 4.6.1beta.rsb: 662913024, 225910784,. This last part is incredibly tedious. Basically you're gonna select the entirety of the garbled up bytes from the section file. The easiest way to do this is to click before the "78" in hex (the one that we searched for), press and hold "Shift", press (not hold!) the "End" key, and then while holding shift, also hold down the Page Down key. This'll select a bunch of text really quickly. If you over shot, (if you went into the null bytes, for example) then just press/hold the Page Up key until you get back to the garbled bytes. If you are still selecting null bytes, but you're on the same line as the garbled bytes, here's an example) while still holding Shift, press the Left (or Right) arrow keys. Now if you did everything correctly, there should be something at the bottom of HxD hex editor that says "Length" (in this case, it was 568055). Take that number in hex, and you're once again gonna convert that into decimal. After you've converted it into decimal, You can put that at the end of the text line in the versions.cfg (4.6.1beta.rsb: 662913024, 225910784, 568055) That's how you do it. This works for PVZ2, but I can't guarantee that it'll work for other games. It seems as though the OBB Patcher was built for PVZ2, and nothing else. BallisticPlanet

I don't know why you are so bitter and quick to act viciously. When I read these types of threats, I first laugh at the attacker's logic cycle, then I wonder how they got into this thinking process, then I feel sorrow, for however the person must've thought was almost certainly a negative expirience. I might act fierce on terms where I believe, but you saw that I admitted that my Garlic biting count could be wrong when you provoked me to remember that I could count how many times I used it in a level on one hand. Your attacks can be analogized with a general who thought the X's around the enemy base on the sketch of the it were targets instead of landmines. For attack 1, even if you have destroyed my refute(which I'd doubt, for most who mess with SP and TW would be smart and commited(easily beated PvZ1 and looking for a challenge b/c (s)he likes the game) enough to infer that there is a wikia where they can attempt to contribute their knowledge to) , but you failed to support your idea that we know everything. Attack 2 failed to realize that I was using the structure of your argument to prove that your argument can never prove anything. The structure of your argument was "Ability/Entity X(in your case, Garlic having AoE diversion) does not exist in the code of Project Z(PvZ2). Therefore, Ability/Entity X does not exist in Project Z." My counter-argument was "Bugs do not exist in the code of a game. Therefore, bugs do not exist in the game." Not a valid argument, as you cried out. But that means that you must agree with the fact that your argument is invalid and that you proved nothing. You might be right with your conclusion, but you have to try another tactic. Your third attack was... frankly, excess and self-defeating. First off, I counted in halfs of a bite(or half-bites, for short) because visual queues(is that right, English professor?) occur halfway through and at the official 'bite' of damage. If you plant a Wall-nut in the column above a Peashooter and watch as a zombie tries to eat it, you'll see that every other visual queue approximately line up with its shooting animation. I never said anything about a bite not being a full second. Also, you claimed that it takes 3 bites for a zombie to be diverted and claim that a bite takes a full second. If you watch that same video that you posted, you see that these 'three bites' took less that 2 seconds.

So take kindly from me what not many will tell you: Read carefully and think before you act/post, if not for your humility for the lack of annoyance on the parts of others.

Point #1 is a fair point that I legitimately didin't think about too much. However, I still don't believe that anyone truly knows everything about anything in the game, except maybe simple plants/zombies like Puff-shroom(in the first game) and Peashooter, and ther isn't too much that any non-godly being can do about that.

Your original second point was impossible for me to care about interpreting because of the sea of hate you poured onto it. I read it once and I seriously just wanted to ignore you because of how one-dimensional you made that chunk of text read. It frankly read as if someone lost their head before writing it. Whether or not you seriously said that bugs are part of the code or not in the first one I don't know nor care, but at least you adressed it in a (more)civilized manner on your second go, so I lay off because the reasoning came out.

However, your third point was completely out of the blue as far as I can tell. When I asked if you knew the editor, I meant the source editor. It was the only thing to edit in in the beginning and I honestly prefer it over other versions of editing. I was a bit lazy when I asked that, TBH, because I can see you've been here almost as long as I've known that this place existed. As for my second(technically first) account, I could care less about it, as I personally like the idea of starting anew, but if you'd like to meet him let me know. Little did I know that someone would quickly try to look for easily framed prey. I've only shown you this side because it is the side you wanted to face. Everyone else I rather respect, but I will admit that I hve some toxicity towards those who just act like money Premiums, especially those virtually-100%-better-than-another-plant ones, are completely OK. Gem-costing Premiums(or Gemiums) would be better because if one was to take a single glance at the Gems costs, one would see that these undervalued diamonds could be a better source of wealth; most of us upper dogs would have enough Gems to get most of the Gemiums we want while those who wish to pay can either spend more or become more dedicated(or some mix of both) to earn them. It's a much better solution than basically screaming "pay us" with some $6.99 Premiums IMO. I'd probably even be OK with those upgrade-like plants if they were Gemiums.

I would just like to let you know that you are dodging the bigger bullet of Garlic's health and that I've pressed this 'Enter' key on the forums where everyone can see many times. I just didn't want to go easy on someone who went pretty savage very quick. Just because they're not always doesn't mean that they're not against the rules. And I personally don't go to those branches just because I don't play the games. A faster way is just to go all the way to the bottom of the list, press Crtl + D, which will duplicate it, then edit the value. It saves time from having to create another string. Key word: if. It's your fault that you're not familiar with rules. I don't even think that you know how the warning system works. The warning template IS for warning people. You already got warnings like this before for breaking the rules. All of the staff members use the same warning system, or at least similar to it. You're just trying to slide out of the situation while making up various things to make me the one who's doing the bad thing. You're the only one who ever complained about this, so I'm not sure who should fix themselves here. I'm not the one who gets into these arguments. Looking through your talk page, you're always like this. And by the way, I'm not trying to improve the wiki like this, I don't know where you got that idea from. I'm doing what I always did.

I don't consider cleaning up stuff like that as wiki's improvement, nor when people are blocked. I guess that's just personal opinion.

I didn't say it in it because there weren't that many off-topic replies, and I'm just generally sick of stuff like that happening. There was actually a big problem with off-topic replies back in March (reference), and after that, I just simply delete replies. In addition, there's no strict way of how staff members have to deal with rule-breaking replies.
