Peashooter is a recurring Plant and one of the main faces within the Plants vs. Zombies franchise. Unlocked by default in Plants vs. Zombies, he is the first ever character to make a playable appearance in the series, and has consistently appeared in every game since.
Peashooter's personality and character throughout the franchise have rarely been elaborated on, with the most stated about him being his high determination and perseverance in fighting zombies.
Browncoat Zombie is a recurring character within the Plants vs. Zombies franchise. Browncoat Zombies are the most basic zombie in the series, with no special abilities and basic stats. Due to how basic he is, it is common for there to be at least one variant of Browncoat Zombie in the game, and certain armored zombies such as Conehead Zombie and Buckethead Zombie become this zombie when the armor is destroyed or removed.
As of Plants vs. Zombies 3, Browncoat Zombie has appeared in every game in the series.
Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted is an HD remaster of the original game from 2009 developed by PopCap Games and The Lost Pixels, and published by Electronic Arts. The game was released on October 23, 2025 on Nintendo Switch platforms, Xbox One and Series platforms, PlayStation 4 and 5, and Windows desktop via Steam, Epic Games, and the EA app. In addition to high-definition graphics, the game includes all content from the Game of the Year Edition (except Zombatar), the Co-op Mode, Versus Mode, and widescreen presentation from the console versions, some features and achievements from the mobile versions, and some new content. The game is available to buy for $19.99 USD, similar to the original's release price from 2009.
Mark Barrett was a senior artist for Plants vs. Zombies 2 up until January 2016, having also been involved in Plants vs. Zombies and Plants vs. Zombies Heroes. He also created many of the concepts for the canceled game Plants vs. Zombies Brainiversity.
