Promotional images and an icon for Creative Mode have been published, featuring content from the popular Chinese mod Plant Girls vs. Zombies, though currently all that has been shown is the mod's version of Scaredy-shroom. It is currently unknown how much content and features from the mod will be ported.

A Versus Mode similar to that of the Console Edition's has been announced to be added in the game as of early-May, however it has been postponed as of late-May due to technical reasons, and is currently unknown as to how long it will be kept postponed.
