Plants vs. Zombies: The Curse of the Flower-Bot is a 8 pages appearing alongside Avatar and Bandette in this year’s All-Ages offering from Dark Horse Comics for Free Comic Book Day 2015. It was released in May 2, 2015. It also appears in "Bully For You" as its side story
Plot
Dr. Zomboss watches in his TV when he gets the idea to build a flower robot to infiltrate the plant base in order to gain access of Crazy Dave's inventions. To assist him, he calls in zombies Tugboat, Frogpants, and Nigel Blimpbottom. After the mechanical Flora is complete, Zomboss and his crew arrive near the plant base where Zomboss uses Tugboat, Frogpants, and Nigel along with a zombie horde as a distraction so the Flower Bot can get inside unnoticed. The robot is successful at the infiltration but Patrice is suspicious. Dr. Zomboss finds out that the inventions that Crazy Dave makes are useless to him but to his shock, the bot begins to malfunction via Pop Smarts crumbles that had gotten inside while making the Flower Bot. The Flower Bot ends up switching sides and with Patrice riding it and it wilding Crazy Dave's inventions, ends up defeating the zombie horde once again.
