Tit for Tat (以牙还牙; pinyin: Yǐyáháiyá) was a Brain Buster exclusive to Dark Ages in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2. It was very similar to Dark Alchemy, however the player had to fight against zombies with the help of only Hypno-shroom and his costumed variant. To unlock this Brain Buster, the player had to obtain 4 Dark Ages keys.

Trivia

• This was the only Brain Buster to feature two identical plants: normal and costumed Hypno-shroom.
  • Only Hypno-shrooms that are given Plant Food with costumes will transform zombies into Gargantuars in the player's favor.
  • If the player already had Hypno-shroom equipped with costume, then the normal seed packet would also provide plant with the costume.
• This, Cannons Away, Oak Archery, Gluttonous Hungry Guacodile, Bulb Bowling, Whack-a-Mole, Ninjimp Adventures and Mandrake Parkour are the only Brain Busters that feature one plant.
