Shadow aura

Plants from Plants vs. Zombies 2 and the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2 that are classified as shadow plants.

Shadow plants get special boosts when planted in a tile affected by shadow aura, such as extra attacks or new attacks altogether. These boosts persist until either the removal of the shadow plant from the aura or the source of the shadow aura it's planted on.

So far in Plants vs Zombies 2, every shadow plant is part of the Conceal-mint family.

In the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2, a super-shadow form also exists, solely for Gloom Vine so far, in which the plant turns into a further shadowy form.
