Creativity Mode (创意模式; pinyin: Chuàngyì Móshì) is a mode exclusive to Plants vs. Zombies: Original Edition, having the goal to publish levels created by fan creators collaborating with Talkweb, not being open to all players yet.^[1]

It features levels created by fan creators and levels ported from collaborating mods or created by their creators. The player is allowed only 1 try per level, per day. In order to play it more than 1 time in a single day, the player can watch an advertisement (or share their WeChat invitation) to gain an additional try for that day, up to 2 ads per level, per day.

Pass Tickets (Archived content)

Pass Tickets (通行票; pinyin: Tōng Háng Piào) were ticket currencies that served as a Physical Strength system for this mode specifically. It was added on August 17th, 2024 and removed on August 20th, 2024. Upon its addition, the players upon watching an advertisement (or sharing invitation) would instead receive a ticket in order to further play. The tickets could stack up and be saved in a counter, allowing the player to spend them whenever they wanted on whichever level they wanted, without the limitation of 1 (or 3 with ads/invites) tries per level, per day. These tickets could be obtained from the Creativity Play Package (创意畅玩; pinyin: Chuàngyì Chàng Wán) in Welfare Package.
