Pendants (挂件; pinyin: guàjiàn; internal name: Accessory) are items that were first featured in the 1.4.0 update of the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2. It functions like a power-up item for plants. There are two types of pendants: regular pendants and Flower Pots. The player can apply them to their plants through the Costumes menu or the Plants section. There is a storage limit of 350 pendants; if the player has too many pendants or wants to make space for better pendants, they can sell them. The update 2.5.0 brings Super Pendants that works like normal pendants but they can be leveled.
How to obtain pendants or its Puzzle Pieces
1. Through Lucky Treasure (before the 1.8.0 update).
2. Exchanging 10 (15 if it's a Super Pendant) Puzzle Pieces for pendants. Every exchange costs a set amount of coins:

6. Landing on the pendant spaces on the Boss Rush Event's Roulette.
7. Getting far enough into the Seasonal or Two-Player Mode's battle passes.

- The "金" character on the fertilizer pendant means "gold."
- It also references a kind of fertilizer supplement, which is called "Jinkela (金坷垃)." It is well-known in the Chinese communities, not by its effect, but through its several over-exaggerated and ridiculous and marketing/shengdiyage jinkela fertilizer.php advertisements; it created a digital sub-culture beyond the youths
- The colors on the fertilizer are gold and green, which are the same colors as Jinkela.
- The description of the Rare Fertilizer references the advertisements of "新盖中盖牌高钙片", a calcium supplement.
- The description of the Refined Torch references the lyrics of "Fire in Winter" (冬天里的一把火), one of the many Chinese versions of Sexy Music.
