Antipode

Greetings!  It seems you wanted an explanation on the Antipode build, so why not?  This is basically taken from the creator's post on a Steam forum thread.

Okay, first you'll need to bring Coffee Beans, Fume-shrooms, Lily Pads, Pumpkins, and Imitater Pumpkins along every flag.  Make sure to have Wall-nut First Aid so you can repair Pumpkins while they're being nommed on without endangering the plants inside them.

If there are Jack-in-the-box Zombies, bring Gloom-shrooms.  Period.  I don't care how unlikely Jack explosions are, but if you don't bring Glooms, one explosion and your brains are gone.

If there are Zombonis or Gigas, bring Spikeweed and Spikerock.  Spikeweeds are a highly recommended instant kill to Zombonis; Gatling Peas are unlikely to be able to take down 2 Zombonis in the same row.  And those Spikerocks, if you play this build perfectly, will never get smashed, but you'll still probably need to maintain them some.

Bring Ice-shrooms if there are Bungee Zombies.  They come at each huge wave, try to freeze them when they're down so your Gloom-shrooms have enough time to tear them to shreds.

Finally, Squash.  It seems a little silly, but yes, they are necessary.

If you have empty slots because one or more of these zombies don't appear, feel free to substitute your favourite consumable.  Good choices include Cherry Bombs, Jalapenos, Ice-shrooms, Doom-shrooms, and Puff-shrooms.

As for actually playing it, I primarily wing it.  If there are 2 Zombonis in the outer rows, make sure to take them out with Spikeweed.  Fume-shrooms, Spikeweed, and Puff-shrooms can be used to stall Gargantuars for your Firepeas to destroy them, and even if it looks like a Gargantuar is about to smash a Spikerock, they rarely do.  Otherwise, I just guess as to a cycle of Cobs and Squashes and nuke the field when it looks dangerous.

Dangerous zombies include Zombonis, Gigas, and Jacks, as I've already noted.  Pogo Zombies are rarely an issue, but they occasionally vault over your Torchwood and halt your Flaming Wall of Doom for a split second.  Screen Door Zombies are, oddly enough, some of the most dangerous Zombies, mainly due to their interaction with Firepeas acting like normal Peas.  Just nuke 'em.
