Everything on this post is hypothetical. This post is inspired by Penny's Pursuit. However, I would ensure that the higher difficulty parts of a level will not contain "buffed" zombies (except for maybe boss battles), as that is also something I hate in Pvz2 China.

Outline

  • There will be 7 levels (excluding the boss battle level), where each level has 3 difficulty stages. The first 6 levels, upon completion, will award 5/7/10 seed packets for a particular plant in the Conceal-mint family.
  • The last level will be unlocked upon completion of the easy and medium difficulties of the first 6 levels. This level only has one difficulty and it is extra hard. Hence, this level will reward 10 seed packets for a shadow plant of player's choice, along with 3 seed packets for conceal-mint, and will have a higher frequency of coin drops and the occasional gem drop. This will also reset once a day.
  • No fuel bars. No penny fuel. They suck. Player can play all levels at unlimited numbers of time. However, reward consisting seed packets can only be gained once a day. Repeated play will award the following:
    • 250 Coin for easy difficulty.
    • 500 for medium difficulty.
    • 1000 for extra hard difficulty.
    • Each unused lawnmower will award the player an additional 50 coins, just like PvZ original.
    • Frequency of coin and zen garden pot drops from zombies also increase.
  • Zombot health-o-meter remains the same as the original Penny's Pursuit. Similarly, the player can only challenge zomboss 3 times a day. The rewards will be the same, except the 10/15/20 guaranteed seed packets of which shadow plant can be chosen by the player, and that the rewards also include 0/10/20 seed packets for Conceal-mint.
  • Treasure Yeti also makes a daily occurrence for levels 1 to 6. (hence the total will be 6 times for these 6 levels.) They only appear after the player has attempted these levels at least once before on the same day. For level 7 and zomboss battles, one Yeti will come for every play attempt.
    • It will drop a lunchbox containing 3 Seed packet for one random gem-premium/seedium obtained plant, along with either 2 Gem or 1 Mint.
    • The yeti absorbs 100 peas worth of damage, and will retreat when it absorbs 50 peas worth of damage or when it reaches Column 4. For level 7, the yeti's health will multiply by 1.25x after each defeat for every day, capping at 18626 health. (or after 11 defeats)
    • The yeti is immune to all hypnosis from enchant-mint family, all instant kills from ail-mint family and cannot be blown away by Blover or Hurrikale. But they can be stalled or chilled, but cannot be frozen/stunned.
    • The yeti only comes at the final wave of a level, in hopes for greater protection.
  • This event will last for 15 days, and will make a return eventually.
  • If the player does not have all the shadow plants (including Shadow Peashooter), they will be provided for the player. (But they will be unlevelled until they are unlocked.)
  • None of the levels are easy, even at easy difficulty.
  • If the player completes all 3 difficulties for levels 1 to 6, completed level 7 at least once, and defeated Dr Zomboss at least 3 times in a row (regardless of difficulty), one will be awarded with a master Pinata, which will consist of 30 seed packets for 3 random adventure-mode obtained plants and 30 seed packets for 3 random gemium/seedium plants. Finally, it will also give 25 conceal-mint seed packets. Dr zomboss's defeat soundtrack from pvz1 will also be played. Crazy Dave will also be rescued, but the levels still paradoxically remain.
  • Conceal-mint and its seed packets and Shadow Peashooter piñata will all be present for the first 7 days of this event.
  • NO PENNY PERKS! But that also means that sun drops normally, zombies have normal health, lawnmowers will always be present etc.
    • However, for boss battles, there might be arena gimmicks. Also, for every 30 seconds, captured Crazy Dave will make a battle cry, allowing the plants of all families to deal more damage (perhaps 10% more?) or permanently gain more health (perhaps 10% more? This also applies to zomboids/hypnotised zombies), or increase the recharge speed by 2x (only for mints). The battle cry will last for 6 seconds. (soundtrack undecided, any ideas?) Level 1 (easy)


  • #Bug carries a conehead adventurer zombie.
  • The endangered plants are 5 Shadow-shrooms at C4.
  • The summoned zombies come from a lost city portal, 1x of the 3 zombies each per portal.

Comments: With the existence of Primal Wall-nuts, and the strategic use of shadow shroom plant food, I am worried that this level might be easier than Modern Day - Day 1. Thankfully, the final wave changes the difficulty completely. Now I need to pray for the player to avoid using any defensive plants and lose the game! (From Dr Zomboss)

Level 1 (medium)

  • #Bug carries a Buckethead adventurer zombie.
  • The endangered plants are 5 Shadow-shrooms at C3.
  • The new Wild West Portal summons 1x each of Chicken Wrangler Zombie and Zombie Bull, meanwhile the Lost City Portal no loner summons a Buckethead Adventurer (directly).

Level 1 (Extra-hot)

  • The endangered plants are 5 Shadow-shrooms at C3.
  • The Wild West Portal summons 1x each of Chicken Wrangler Zombie and Zombie Bull
  • These "^" Surfer Zombies are hypnotised, and will turn backwards to fight other zombies. However, they will drop their surfboards upon encountering an opposing zombie, which will kill plant(s) planted on that square.


Level 3 (easy)

  • The player is pre-given 300 Sun.
  • Note: For level 3 (all difficulties), the FC portal spawns these zombies:

Comments: The 2 stages of Nightshade (powered and non-powered) must not be known by the player. Otherwise if the player knows this and plants nightshades at the...nvm, not gonna say it, and uses Shadow Peashooter for crowd control and to occasionally suck away my army, I'm screwed. Level 3 (medium)

  • The player is pre-given 300 Sun.
  • For level 3 medium and hard difficulties, the pirate seas portal spawn the following zombies:

Level 3 (hard)

  • The player is pre-given 300 Sun.
  • Crazy Dave : "Howdy neighbour, this level has a special gimmick. Be prepared for plants like grimrose, banana launcher, celery stalkers and wall-nuts flying down, er, I mean "raining" down."
  • Plants take 4 seconds to rain down, and will disappear after 2 more seconds.
  • The flower-line is at C8.

Hint: The trick is to control the progression of the waves, otherwise zombies will come too fast for you and gumnut to handle.
