Suburbination Isolation is a Weekly Event game mode in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. It is a variant of Suburbination where only one capture point is active at a time.

Mechanics

This is an interesting version of Suburbination, with only one point active at a time. The point in the middle of the map will always start off. Every 20 points, the point will become "inactive" and will no longer give points. There will be a short pause where no points are active, and then a new point will be chosen. The new point will never be the same as the old point.

Description

Suburbination with one point active at a time. Get to the point!

Weekly challenges

The weekly challenges for this event are as follows:

  1. Win a Match
  2. Deal Damage (7,000)
  3. Win Matches (3x)

Strategies

As everyone will most likely be crowded in the same spot, fighting for the same point, it's a good idea to pick characters that can attack many enemies at once. Peashooters can use their splash-damaging Pea Cannon or their Chili Bean Bombs to clear the area. Electric Slides can use their arcing Boogie Bolt, Funky Bouncer, and Disco Tornado to do the same. Engineers can put down their Heavy Helpers and continuously fire their Concrete Launcher to do massive damage or force enemies away. Roses can use Goatify to scatter the enemy or make them easier to control. Rose can also use Arcane Enigma to help her allies get to the objective faster.

Trivia

  • There is a glitch where the point will become inactive after 19 points instead of 20.
  • As of September 29, 2020, this mode was abruptly changed to Battle Arena as the latter mode became a Weekly Event.
