Rando Ops is a Weekly Event game mode in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. It is a variant of Garden and Graveyard Ops where the players spawn as a random character every match.

Weekly challenges

The weekly challenges for this event are as follows:

1. Complete Rando Ops
2. Complete Rando Ops without Getting Vanquished
3. Gain Experience (8,500x)

Strategies

Because the game will always pick the first character preset you have, it is highly recommended that you equip upgrades that are ideal for Ops in the first slot. If you get a character you don't like, you can respawn and turn into a different character, provided that the Gardenator or Grave-O-Matic hasn't been built yet. The rest of the gameplay is similar to Ops so the same strategies apply here.

Trivia

• As of September 14, 2020, this Weekly Event now allows the player to randomly play as Wildflower or TV Head.
• There was a way you could get around the random character. If you died in any way, including jumping off a cliff, drowning, getting burned in cheese, etc. you would auto-respawn as a different character. This means that you could just kill yourself until you were the character that you wanted.
