Collision Course is a Weekly Event game mode in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. It is a variant of Gnome Bomb where players can only play as Citron, Acorn and Sunflower on the plants team or All-Star, Space Cadet, and Scientist on the zombies team.

Mechanics

This game mode functions identically to Gnome Bomb, except that a limited number of classes are available. You can only play as the Citron, Acorn, Sunflower, All-Star, Space Cadet, and Scientist.

Description

The titans of teaming up are set on a collision course, with only healers and tanks to contain the fury (or add to it-your choice).

Weekly challenges

The weekly challenges for this event are as follows:

  1. Get Vanquishes (15x)
  2. Win Matches (2x)
  3. Get Vanquishes (35x)

Strategies

As the two sides combine heavy defense and healers together, both sides have good options to defend and attack the opposing graveyards/gardens. Citrons and All-Stars should be deploying their shields to defend their garden/graveyards, Acorns and Space Cadets are able to buff up both defense and artillery for the team by using their team abilities, Involve Oak and Station Inflation. Sunflowers and Scientists should be healing the team, however Sunflowers are able to camp gardens with Sunbeam and Scientist's Steam Blaster allow Scientist to be a deadly enemy to the opposing team. All-Stars and Citrons should be rushing the Gnome Bomb with the assistance of a healer, with more of their team backing them up.
