Rando Confirmed is a Weekly Event game mode in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. It is a variant of Vanquish Confirmed where the players spawn as a random character each time they get vanquished.

Mechanics

This game mode functions identically to Vanquish Confirmed, except that you become a random character every time to spawn, meaning you don't get the option to choose.

Weekly challenges

The weekly challenges for this event are as follows:

1. Win a Match
2. Get Vanquishes (20x)
3. Confirm Vanquishes in a Game (10x)
   • Note that while the challenge states that you have to confirm vanquishes in a single match, denying vanquishes also count towards the challenge.

Strategies

Because the game will always pick the first character preset you have, it is highly recommended that you equip upgrades that are ideal for PvP in the first slot. If you get a character you don't like, and you spawn near a cliff, just fall into it and you'll respawn as a different character. However, you should make sure that the enemies do not notice you doing this or they can collect the orb for a point.  If you get a decent character such as the Peashooter or Foot Soldier, or a character you like, then try to stick close to your teammates, Sunflower, or Scientist, as it will increase your chance of surviving with that character. If you get killed during a fight with your preferred character, try to wait until someone tries to revive you, so you could play with it for longer instead of respawning as a different character.

Trivia

• As of August 11, 2020, players can now randomly spawn as Wildflower or TV Head using the first upgrade preset that was carried over from the previous weekly event.
