Double Trouble is a Weekly Event game mode in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. It is a variant of Vanquish Confirmed where all classes deal double damage.

Description

The Design Team accidentally let a Raccoon into the servers.

Everyone is doing DOUBLE DAMAGE! We'll try to get this under control soon.

Weekly challenges

The weekly challenges for this event are as follows:

  1. Win a Match
  2. Get Vanquishes (15x)
  3. Deal Damage (20,000 damage)

Strategies

Use Cactus or Captain Deadbeard and score critical hits with max charge to deal 197 damage, which is able to kill almost every single character in one hit. You can also use Acorn as he has a small hitbox and two Acorn Dashes, allowing you to dodge the enemy's attacks easily, or All-Star, which is capable of corner-peeking and has a high DPS primary weapon, allowing you to avoid the enemy's attacks while firing at the same time.

Trivia

  • The first time that this event was made playable, the doubled damage gimmick didn't work
    • This was later fixed in time for subsequent Double Trouble events
