The Dragon line (火龙系; pinyin: huǒlóng xì) was a Class S PvZAS Icon Brave.pngBrave plant line in Plants vs. Zombies: All Stars.

The line consisted of Lizard Grass (蜥蜴草; pinyin: xīyì cǎo), Snapdragon (火龙草; pinyin: huǒlóng cǎo), and Twin-Headed Snapdragon (双头神龙草; pinyin: shuāng tóu shén lóng cǎo). They all specialized in dealing with column-wide groups of enemies and attacked by spitting fireballs, with Twin-Headed Snapdragon additionally firing an ice shard beforehand.

Origins

Most of the members of the Dragon line were based on dragons, mythical creatures with reptilian and sometimes, avian traits, that are also characterized as being able to breathe fire.

Green Chameleon.jpg

The first tier, Lizard Grass, was based on a lizard, a widespread group of squamate reptiles, but more specifically a chameleon, due to the appearance of its head and its curled up tail. Its name may also be a reference to the Asian grass lizard (Takydromus sexlineatus); as well as the lizard's tail plant (Saururus cernuus), also known as the water-dragon or dragon's tail.

Snapdragon2.png

The second tier, Snapdragon, was based on the plant with the same name and appearance from Plants vs. Zombies 2.

The third tier, Twin-Headed Snapdragon, was based on Snapdragon, with elements of dragons that have been portrayed with an additional head, such as the Hideous Zippleback from How to Train Your Dragon.
