Sun Damaged
Sun Damaged is an achievement in Plants vs. Zombies 2. It requires the player to use a Sun Bomb to destroy a Robo-Cone Zombie. This achievement can only be earned in Far Future - Days 19 and 34 because they are the only Sun Bombs level that feature Robo-Cone Zombies. It is worth 5 points on Game Center for iOS and 500 XP on Google Play Games for Android devices.
Origins
Its name is a reference to sun damage, where things exposed to sunlight for too long become damaged, namely with skin. This can happen to skin or metal furniture, likely meaning the latter as it relates to a robot.
Strategies
The player should avoid tapping the sun if it is not near the Robo-Cone Zombie or if it is near a plant. The player should act fast, but they should wait for the right opportunity when a Robo-Cone Zombie is located underneath the falling sun. It is advised to deal a fair amount of damage to the zombie before attempting this, preferably with an instant kill. To easily complete this achievement without instant-kill plants, the player must wait until the Robo-Cone Zombie reaches its last degrade and then tap the sun. The Sun Bomb should not be near the defenses as losing them will make the player's plants open for attacks by other zombies. Additionally, to prevent the zombie from moving away, Iceberg Lettuces should be used to stall it or Hurrikales could be used to push back it when it is close to your defense.
