Fried Chicken
Fried Chicken is an achievement in Plants vs. Zombies 2. It requires the player to use a Lightning Reed on a Zombie Chicken in order to get the achievement. It is worth 15 points in the Game Center and 1,500 XP on Google Play Games.
Origins
Its name is the result of when a Lightning Reed electrocutes or fries one or more Zombie Chickens.
Strategies
Once you unlock Lightning Reed upon beating Wild West - Day 9, proceed to the next level. You will be introduced to Chicken Wrangler Zombie. Avoid using any plant that prohibits it from releasing its Zombie Chickens. It releases Zombie Chickens when it absorbs three normal damage shots. Try to have more than one Lightning Reed to destroy its flocks. This can also be achieved in select Piñata Parties where both Lighting Reed and the zombie appear.
This achievement leads the player towards one of the best defenses against Zombie Chickens, as Lightning Reeds can destroy multiple Zombie Chickens in each zap.

Trivia
- The icon resembles a small bucket of fried chicken, which is almost always dropped when Zombie Chickens are electrocuted by Lightning Reeds. It resembles Kentucky Fried Chicken (usually abbreviated as KFC, a fast food brand).
- However, the bucket has a whole chicken body instead of fried parts of a Chicken.
