Pod Squad
Pod Squad is an achievement in Plants vs. Zombies 2. It requires the player to max out a Pea Pod while it is on a mine cart. It is worth 15 points on Game Center for iOS devices and 1,500 XP on Android devices.
Origins
Its name is an example of rhyming, as the words "pod" and "squad" both end with an "-odd" sound.
Strategies
Minecarts are one of the best places to put maxed out Pea Pods, as it lets the plant cover different lanes when needed. Thus, the achievement leads players towards a viable defense strategy. 625 sun needs to be spent to max out the Pea Pod. A good level to do this is in a Last Stand level, so you can put down five Pea Pods and be done. You can use Plant Food on Sunflowers and other sun-producing plants to get more sun. If you have the Instant Recharge upgrade, you can instead use Plant Food to ignore the recharge of the Pea Pod. However, this is not recommended, since it takes only a few seconds to recharge a Pea Pod.
You can easily do this in Wild West on Day 6, 8, 18, or 25. However, it is best done on Day 8 due to the large density of zombies.

Trivia
- It and Shell On Wheels are the only achievements which require to use a minecart and rail.
- The icon of this achievement looks similar to the icon of Shell On Wheels, except that it has a Pea Pod instead of a Wall-nut. Both require planting on a minecart and also can only be done in the Wild West and Piñata Parties with Pea Pod (or Wall-nut) and minecart and rail.
- It and Shell on Wheels are the only achievements to have minecarts on them.
- It is one of four rhyming achievements in Plants vs. Zombies 2. The others are Fungus Humongous, Tile Denial and Porter Thwarter.
- In addition, it is one of nine rhyming achievements in the whole series, with the others being Master Blaster from Plants vs. Zombies Adventures, Flower Power and No Fungus Among Us from the original game and Hero to Zero and King of Spring from Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2.
