Hot Off the Presses
Hot Off the Presses is an achievement in Plants vs. Zombies 2. It is achieved by setting a Newspaper Zombie's newspaper on fire, meaning that the player must let a fire plant (e.g. Pepper-pult) attack a Newspaper Zombie. It is worth 5 points on Game Center for iOS devices and 500 XP on Google Play Games for Android devices.
Origins
Its name is a reference to the term "hot off the presses," meaning a very recently printed news article. The "hot" in the achievement's title also refers to the literal meaning of hot, a high degree or temperature, which refers to the fire plants the player must use to unlock this achievement.
Strategies
Simply go into a level with Newspaper Zombie, then choose fire plants such as Snapdragon and use them to attack the zombie. This can be done easily in Modern Day - Day 3 where the Newspaper Zombie is introduced and where more dangerous zombies aren't present. The same level also conveniently has Snapdragons.
