Hammer Time is an achievement in Plants vs. Zombies 2. The player can achieve it by defeating the Dark Ages Gargantuar in Dark Ages - Night 10. It is worth 20 points on Game Center for iOS devices and 2,000 XP on Google Play Games for Android devices.

Origins

Its name is a reference to Hammertime from MC Hammer's "U Can't Touch This" and the phrase: "Stop! Hammer time!" However, it may be referring to how Dark Ages Gargantuars use hammers to smash plants, as all Gargantuars do just that.
