BBQ Beach is the ninth block in Plants vs. Zombies 3, unlocked after beating Devour Tower - Floor 25. Four new zombies can be found here. To upgrade BBQ Beach, BBQ Beach Blueprints are required. Battles take place on a boardwalk.

Special Feature

BBQ Beach's special feature is that it produces Hot Sauce for the player. When upgraded, it increases the amount of Hot Sauce that it produces.

After winning a Breakout Battle the player usually gains seeds. In BBQ Beach, the following seeds are most likely to be obtained:

• Melon-Pult
• Sawgrass
• Aloe Vera

Trick

Occasionally during a Breakout Battle, a message will appear on the screen signaling a trick. BBQ Beach's message will say Beach Trick: Feeding Frenzy, which summons several Shark Zombies on random tiles on the lawn.

The zombies that are associated with BBQ Beach are as follows:

• Shark Zombie
• Sunbather Zombie
• Flamingo Rider
• Sharktronic Sand Sub

Strategies

Feeding Frenzy, the trick of this area, might be annoying to deal with, as the Shark Zombies can appear as close as the third lane. Additionally, you won't be able to know if a fin is from a Shark Zombie or Sharktronic Sand Sub until it arises. Sweet Potato will attract the zombies and reveal Backbiter Zombies in her vicinity.
