Plants vs. Zombies: Endless Edition (植物大战僵尸无尽版, pinyin: Zhíwù dàzhàn jiāngshī wújìn bǎn), also known as Plants vs. Zombies: Journey to the West, was a Chinese-exclusive extension of Plants vs. Zombies. It included content based on the Chinese novel, Journey to the West. It was later discontinued in 2015 for unknown reasons. On Plants vs. Zombies Android TV there is a QR code on the main menu and pause screen that lets you download the game, but this scan download no longer works.

In versions 30.7 and 30.8 the game was known as Plants vs. Zombies Dragon Palace Edition (植物大战僵尸龙宫版, pinyin: Zhíwù dàzhàn jiāngshī lónggōng bǎn).

Trivia

  • All the images on the seed packets were the images from the HD renders.
  • Every world, plant, and zombie returned from the first game. Only a few new features were introduced.
  • Electric Anemone, Strong Cauliflower, Machine Gun Pomegranate, Carrotillery, Oak Archer, and Ghost Pepper have the upgrade plant seed packet, even though they were not upgrades. This was mostly intended to prevent the plants listed above from getting imitated by Imitater.
    • They are all unlocked by purchasing them at the shop.
  • Some plants from Plants vs. Zombies 2 and Plants vs. Zombies 2 (Chinese version) were ported into the game, and had their Plant Food abilities as their secondary attacks.
  • This was not the first Journey to The West inspired game created by PopCap. In Bookworm Adventures Vol. 2, the 5th Book: The Monkey King, introduced characters inspired by the novel and the legend.
  • The Zen Garden was unlocked in 1-6, instead of 5-5.
  • You could only unlock upgrade plants and levels x-11 to x-13 by having certain plants in the Zen Garden.
  • Similarly to the Android version of Plants vs. Zombies: Great Wall Edition, the only music in the game was Grasswalk.
