Skeleton Demon Zombie (百骨精僵尸; pinyin: Bǎi Gǔ Jīng Jiāngshī - also referred to as 白骨精僵尸 (pinyin: Báigǔjīng Jiāngshī) in Plants vs. Zombies: Great Wall Edition and Plants vs. Zombies: Original Edition) was a zombie that first appeared in Plants vs. Zombies: Endless Edition, later on ported to Plants vs. Zombies: Great Wall Edition, and even later on ported to Plants vs. Zombies: Original Edition. She served as the boss of the chapter "Three Fights With Skeleton Demon" and appeared in three separate forms.

She would appear in a random lane before doing her first transformation, in which she transforms into an elderly man holding a dust pan that serves as a shield, much like the screen door of Screen Door Zombie. The player could use piercing plants and/or lobbing plants to directly damage him rather than damage the shield.

Upon defeating the first form, she would transform back into her original self and jump from the spot she was last defeated, and storm into a different lane for her second transformation, in which she transforms into a village girl that can summon four Kid Taoist Monk Zombies/Backup Dancers in a cross pattern. She will not summon these zombies while eating a plant, and will have to be free of any stall in order to summon these zombies.

Upon defeating the second form, she would once again transform back into her original self and jump again from the spot she was last defeated, and storm into a different lane for her final and original form, in which she will sprint towards your defense and start eating your plants, while the sprinting makes her twice as fast than her past forms. Every once in a short while, she would switch lanes over and over again, attacking the player from different lanes. Within the span of this short while, about half within that period of time, she would wag her arm and turn every single zombie on the lawn invisible for a period of time, including the zombies that would enter the lawn later on within the period of this invisibility.

Origins

This zombie is mainly based on one of the demons in Journey To The West, Baigujing, who was a demoness whose powers was to shapeshift into any form, similar to her attacks in-game.

Sometimes she turns into an old person who performs in a style of agricultural heavy metal; Sometimes she transforms into a beautiful lady from the rural areas. However, all these different looks can't cover her love in music. Yes, she's the spokeswoman of death punk who has no less popularity than Dancing Zombie.

Trivia

• Her Almanac entry referenced the Dancing Zombie.
• Her Almanac entry mentioned that she could shoot spider webs at plants, which was likely an accidental leftover from Spider Woman Zombie's own Almanac entry.
• She uses the same running animations as Assassin Zombie.
