Children's Playpark (儿童游乐园; pinyin: Értóng yóu lèyuán) is a temporary Secret Realm and the 20th world overall, introduced in the v3.1.1 update alongside Meteor Flower, Gorgon Pitcher, and Power Vine. Keeping in theme with the previous two Secret Realms, this Secret Realm is themed after a holiday, in this instance the Children's Day events. The 2023 Event was released in the v3.1.1 update, and the 2024 Event was released in the v3.4.1 update.

This Secret Realm introduces a basic zombie set for the event, alongside featuring some of the zombies from the original event.

The realm introduces a new level mechanic, the Ice Cream Van. Ice Cream Vans appear at the start of each flag and will passively spawn both lollipops that act like graves and bubbles that take away plants. The van itself occupies two lanes and can spawn on any two lanes on the lawn.

The van drives slowly down the lawn, instantly crushing any plant it encounters, plants cannot be planted on the tiles the van is occupying. The van can be destroyed if damaged enough, releasing two Bubble Gun Imps upon destruction. If plants such as Spikeweed and Spikerock are used to pop the van's front tires, the van will slowly slide forward and break down, destroying it.

The 2023 Event lasted for 21 days, from June 1st 2023 to June 21st 2023. The 2024 Event lasted for 16 days, from May 30th 2024 to June 14th 2024, and only 2 levels would be (automatically) unlocked per day for Hard Mode.

Trivia

• Despite Lollipop Zombie and Balloon Imp being seen in promotional material for this Secret Realm, they do not appear a single time in any of the levels.
  • In the 2024 Event however, both zombies appear as normal.
  • Lollipop Zombie can be seen inside the Ice Cream Van and actively throwing lollipops, but he still does not drop off the van after it breaks, only 2 Bubble Gun Imps are released.
    • This is due to the fact that the Ice Cream Van is set to drop 2 Bubble Gun Imps, and 2 Air Bubbles rather than Lollipop Zombies.
• As seen from promotional material and the game's files, there were supposed to be two variants of Ice Cream Vans, the used variant with Bubble Gun Imps and Lollipop Zombies, and another variant with only Children's Day basic zombies. The latter wasn't used for an unknown reason.
• The 2024 Event had the first 7 levels unlocked immediately (both normal and hard modes) if the player had previously beaten the 2023 Event. This was due to the fact that the 2024 Event directly replaced the 2023 Event in the files, resulting in this issue. This was fixed shortly after it was noticed, and the players were compensated with a giftcode afterwards.
