But you can just call me Crazy Dave.
Conehead Zombie has different capitalization or spelling depending on what game it is in. When editing, use the term used in the game in question.
Conehead Zombie shuffled mindlessly forward like every other zombie. But something made him stop, made him pick up a traffic cone and stick it on his head. Oh yeah. He likes to party.

History

Plants vs. Zombies

Conehead Zombie1.png

In the original Plants vs. Zombies game, as well as all Chinese spin-off games based on it, Conehead Zombie first appears in Level 1-3, serving as a stronger version of Zombie, absorbing 560 damage rather than 200, thus absorbing 360 more damage. Similar to Zombie, he has a Ducky Tube Zombie counterpart that only appears in Pool and Fog levels. They can be defeated with anything except 1 Peashooter, and 2 Puff-shrooms.

Unlike most armored zombies, his cone can't be stolen by Magnet-shroom, requiring the cone to be destroyed before Conehead Zombie can be damaged himself. He costs 75 sun/brains in I, Zombie and Versus Mode.

In Plants vs. Zombies: Great Wall Edition, he was renamed and appeared as the Bamboo Baskethead Zombie.

In Plants vs. Zombies: Endless Edition, there was an underwater variant of the Conehead Zombie in Fight the Sea Demons and Brave the Dragon King's Palace named Conchhead Zombie, having a conch on his head instead of a roadcone.

Plants vs. Zombies Adventures (Archived content)

Conehead ZombieA.png

Conehead Zombie made a reappearance in PopCap's ill-fated Facebook game Plants vs. Zombies Adventures, retaining the same role as the previous game. He first appears in the third level of The Boonies and appears in mostly every level beyond that. Oddly enough, while he does not appear in any levels in The Sand Dooms, he reappears in a few levels of Zombitorium Manor.

It costed 400 coins to send him to attack a neighbor, as well as 100 coins and a waiting time of two minutes to train him for Brainball.

Plants vs. Zombies 2

Conehead Zombie returned in Plants vs. Zombies 2, once again being the third zombie the player encounters, in Player's House - Day 3. Conehead Zombie only appears in Player's House and Modern Day, but has a variant for every time period in the game, and thus technically appears in every world. Conehead Zombie and all his variants have Basic speed and Protected toughness.

Certain Conehead Zombies have more defining qualities than others, Conehead Cowboy is affected by Pianist Zombie's music, Cave Conehead Zombie is immune to being frozen, and 8-Bit Conehead Zombie is only summoned via Arcade Zombie.

Garden Warfare series and Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville

Main article: Conehead Zombie (Spawnable)
Conehead ZombieGW2.png

Conehead Zombie appears as a spawnable in both games in the Garden Warfare series, summoned by glowing dirt piles, as well as a normal enemy Battle for Neighborville. Like Browncoat Zombies, he can attack with either a Zombie Bite or a Hard Rock if the plant being targeted is in a place Conehead Zombie can't normally reach.

Conehead Zombies have around 127 health, though his health is split between his cone and Conehead Zombie himself, which allows zombies like Scientist to heal him to full if he has his cone on, but to a much lower amount if he has already lost his cone. In Garden Warfare 2, Coffin Zombie becomes this zombie when the coffin is destroyed and Screen Door Zombie becomes this zombie if the screen door is destroyed. Both can be degraded to a Browncoat Zombie while protected by their armors if their weak points are hit enough.

Plants vs. Zombies: All Stars (China only) (Archived content)

Conehead Zombie returned in the Chinese-exclusive turn-based game Plants vs. Zombies: All Stars. Like Plants vs. Zombies 2, he had higher health than a Basic Zombie and had numerous time-based variants throughout the game. He could only attack plants by attacking them directly once he reached them, but had a skill that let him place his cone on the ground and sit behind it, blocking some damage.

He costs 2BrainPvZH.png and has 2StrengthPvZH.png/2HeartPvZH.png. He has no special abilities, but does have the PvZH Armored Icon.pngArmored 1 trait.

Conehead’s latest reappearance is in Plants vs. Zombies 3, once again being one of the first zombies encountered and retaining the role as an armored basic zombie.

Similar to Pompadour and Bikini Zombie in Big Wave Beach, Conehead Zombies in this game can spawn as either male or female, spotting a black wig if they're female.
