Power Flower is a recurring plant title within the Plants vs. Zombies franchise. While the name itself never changes, the Power Flowers' design and abilities are different in every appearance, to the point the only consistent thing between all three is the fact they are all are flowers.
As of Plants vs. Zombies 3, Power Flowers have appeared in four games.
Origins
Power Flower's name is a switch of the words in the slogan "flower power", which was used during the late 1960s and early 1970s as a symbol of passive resistance and non-violence ideology. The word later become a general term for the hippie movement, which also references Adventures Power Flower's appearance and Facebook description.
History
Plants vs. Zombies Adventures

The first Power Flower appeared in PopCap's ill-fated Facebook game Plants vs. Zombies Adventures. In this game, Power Flower was the VIP counterpart to Sunflower and by extension, Twin Sunflower. She gave three sun at a time and like other VIP plants, was free to plant herself.
She could first be obtained after beating level 4 of Cadaver Cavern, took 12 hours to harvest, 1,500 gems to unlock and costed either 30 gems or 200 coins.
Garden Warfare series

The name of Power Flower returned in the Garden Warfare series, being the name of the electric variant of the Sunflower, first introduced in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare.
Power Flower's primary weapon is the Power Pulse, which is similar to the standard variant's primary weapon, firing quickly, but also has an electric effect, chaining to zombies around the initial target. In return, Power Flower has less starting ammo than Sunflower (40 versus 50).
Plants vs. Zombies Heroes

Power Flower's name would later appear in the turn-based mobile game Plants vs. Zombies Heroes, the latest appearance of the Power Flower name. Here as premium rare plant card member of the Solar class.
This Power Flower is a member of the Flower tribe, costs 5, and has 3/5 as well as Strikethrough trait.
Power Flower's ability heals the Plant Hero at the start of each turn, the amount of health being restored being based on how many members of the Flower tribe are on the field, with the maximum amount of possible health restoration being 10.

Trivia
- Power Flower is currently the only plant to have a different design every game. Even the appearances between Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 have noticeable differences.
