Power Flower uses different gender pronouns depending on what game it is in. When editing, use the proper pronouns used in the game in question.
The Power Flower came from over-tanning one day, absorbing too much of the sun's strength. This caused her to continuously vent a powerful energy.

Power Flower is a recurring plant title within the Plants vs. Zombies franchise. While the name itself never changes, the Power Flowers' design and abilities are different in every appearance, to the point the only consistent thing between all three is the fact they are all are flowers.

As of Plants vs. Zombies 3, Power Flowers have appeared in four games.

Origins

Power Flower's name is a switch of the words in the slogan "flower power", which was used during the late 1960s and early 1970s as a symbol of passive resistance and non-violence ideology. The word later become a general term for the hippie movement, which also references Adventures Power Flower's appearance and Facebook description.

The first Power Flower appeared in PopCap's ill-fated Facebook game Plants vs. Zombies Adventures. In this game, Power Flower was the VIP counterpart to Sunflower and by extension, Twin Sunflower. She gave three sun at a time and like other VIP plants, was free to plant herself.

She could first be obtained after beating level 4 of Cadaver Cavern, took 12 hours to harvest, 1,500 gems to unlock and costed either 30 gems or 200 coins.

The name of Power Flower returned in the Garden Warfare series, being the name of the electric variant of the Sunflower, first introduced in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare.

Power Flower's primary weapon is the Power Pulse, which is similar to the standard variant's primary weapon, firing quickly, but also has an electric effect, chaining to zombies around the initial target. In return, Power Flower has less starting ammo than Sunflower (40 versus 50).
