Wraith Zombie (怨灵僵尸; pinyin: yuànlíng jiāngshī) was a zombie in the Android version of Plants vs. Zombies: Great Wall Edition, later on ported to Plants vs. Zombies: Original Edition as part of its Journey to the West mode.

She was invisible to all plants, making her unable to be hit by any projectiles. If she was in lighting radius of Plantern, she would lose her invisibility, alongside being stunned for a very few seconds. She also lost her invisibility as long as she was eating a plant.

Certain attacks, such as the splash damage from Melon-pult (and by extension, Winter Melon), the fumes of Fume-shroom and Gloom-shroom and Jalapeno would damage her regardless of her visibility.

Origins

Her appearance is based on Samara from the The Ring franchise.

Trivia

• Her ability is nearly identical to that of Stealth Imp, with both being fully invisible until they reach a plant or are revealed by Plantern.
• She is the first and only zombie to only appear in night levels.
