Summer Nights
Summer Nights is a recurring special event in the Plants vs. Zombies franchise. It is an event celebrating U.S. Independence Day and usually runs from early to mid-July.
Plants vs. Zombies 2
Summer Nights was first celebrated in Plants vs. Zombies 2 on July 28, 2015 with the release of exclusive Piñata Parties and the inclusion of the special edition plant, Strawburst. The Piñata Parties feature reskins of existing zombies, including the Hot Dog Imp, Summer Nights Zombie, and the Summer Nights Bug Zombie. Following years saw the return of exclusive Piñata Parties and the release of another special edition plant Explode-O-Nut in 2016. On 2019 the Summer Daze Arena Season debuted alongside that years Summer Nights event, and with it introduced the new seed packet premium plant Dazey Chain.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
Summer Nights was first celebrated in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 on June 27, 2017 with the release of the releases the Hot Summer Nights Bundle that contains access to the characters Party Citron and Party Imp, A Pack containing a Legendary hat for the Engineer and the Rainbow Flower ability, and a 50 Rainbow Stars pack. Along with the Hot Summer Nights Bundle, all other sticker packs in the shop have been discounted by 20%.
Plants vs. Zombies Heroes
Summer Nights was first celebrated in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes on June 27, 2017 with the showcase of the Weekly Event card Synchronized Swimmer, other event cards such as Corn Dog and King of the Grill were soon also showcased, with the latter only being obtainable through the Summer Nights Bundle pack.

Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville
Summer Nights was first celebrated in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville on May 2, 2020. It includes the Summer Nights prize map, with a common costume for the Sunflower as a mid-prize map reward, "Metal Head" costume and Brainium Basher 9001 legendary upgrade for the Super Brainz at the end of the prize map, as well as the "Midas Tough" costume for the Super Brainz for the completion reward.
It also includes character challenges for Acorn, Chomper, Imp, and Space Cadet.

Exclusive to Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville
- Summer Nights is one of three events to feature a night variant of Giddy Park, with the other two being Lawn of Doom and Feastivus.
