SeaFlora
SeaFlora is a premium plant added in the 10.4 update of Plants vs. Zombies 2. She[1] fires bubbles (every 4 seconds) down her lane that pierce through zombies like Cactus' spikes.
She can be planted directly on water and cannot be planted on Lily Pads. When planted on water, she will also fire bubbles in the adjacent lanes above and below.
Origins
SeaFlora is based on the purple-heart (Tradescantia pallida)[1], a species of spiderwort that is popularly cultivated as a houseplant.
Its name also appears to be a pun on "seafloor" and "flora."

Upgrades
Plant Food effect
When given Plant Food, SeaFlora fires a giant bubble down her lane, pushing back zombies, then exploding for massive damage. Improves to 3 lanes when she's planted on water.
Spear-mint effect
When boosted by Spear-mint, SeaFlora will deal an additional 200 damage (increases by 40 damage for each level) when attacking on land, an additional 260 damage (increases by 40 damage for each level) when attacking on water, an additional 300 damage (increases by 60 damage for each level) when attacking on land using Plant Food, an additional 360 damage (increases by 60 damage for each level) when attacking on water using Plant Food, she can pierce an additional 3 zombies, and her bubble travel distance is increased by 3 tiles.

Strategies
Sadly, there is little, if any, merit to using SeaFlora on dry land. Even when comparing her to other crowd control primary dps plants in the Spear-mint family, Laser Bean and Cactus both have a higher damage output in any situation, with Bloomerang still having higher damage towards the individual zombies towards the forward of the zombie frontline. With this in mind, you should solely use her in the tides of Big Wave Beach.
When using SeaFlora in Big Wave Beach, one should favor more forward spots to this plant, as that allows her to be in the tide more often. Because of this, one may favor walls that can provide more room on the frontline for more space for SeaFlora, including Infi-Nut's plant food barrier and Tiger Grass. (While Pumpkin could normally be included, SeaFlora cannot be planted on Lily Pads, which prevents a Pumpkin from being placed on her in the water.)
Additionally, due to having multi-lane capabilities when in water, one can empty out the center lane to put lane-independent plants into, such as Sun-shroom, Banana Launcher, or Homing Thistle. Homing Thistle in particular can be a good pick, as it combos off of Seaflora's primary group dps by providing a source of secondary group dps, and they both recieve a damage boost via Spear-mint. It's also worth noting that emptying out the middle lane will cause damage to be spread out more evenly, having each lane have 2 SeaFlora's worth of dps per column rather than the center 3 lanes getting additional dps. This could otherwise lead to the top and bottom lanes not dealing with their zombies as quickly as the center lanes, causing them to pile up and require use of the player's removal to get rid of, removal that could otherwise be used on more important threats. However, something to keep in mind is that SeaFlora only gains multi-lane capabilities while in water, meaning she will not reliably be able to set up in this manner.
