Lemon-Aid is an Epic Support plant in Plants vs. Zombies 3. She costs 6 sun, and her ability allows her to speed up the attacks of all other surrounding plants in a 3x3 area around her.

Origins

Lemon-Aid is based on a lemon (Citrus limon), a citrus plant which juice is commonly used for both culinary and cleaning purposes.

Her name is a pun on "lemonade", a sweetened lemon based beverage typically enjoyed in the summertime, and "aid", meaning to supply help and/or support, referencing her role as a support plant and how she "aids" the plants by speeding up their attacks.

The name of her Plant Food is likely a reference to the shavings of a lemon peel, which is called lemon zest.

Her Tacobility's name is based on the term to stick your lips out to kiss, as well as a reference to how lemons are rich in citric acid and are naturally sour, causing one's lips to pucker.

Her appearance very closely resembles Bad Orange, an unused plant from Plants vs. Zombies: All Stars.

Lemon-Aid's Plant Food ability is named Lemon Zest, Lemon-Aid will massively speed up all eight of her surrounding plants.

Tacobility

Lemon-Aid's Tacobility is Pucker Up, which gives Lemon-Aid a chance to stun all zombies that are attacking the plants in her range.

Strategies

Lemon-Aid is useless on her own. However, if you plant plants in a 3x3 radius around Lemon Aid, she speeds up their attacks. This is why Lemon-Aid is only useful with attacking plants, mainly shooter plants or scrapper plants, because she speeds them up, which increases the plant's DPS (Damage Per Second) and therefore killing the zombies faster.

Lemon Zest, her Plant Food effect, "supercharges", or massively speeds up, all the plants around Lemon-Aid. This can be useful in almost any situation, against swarms, tough threats, and everything in between. However, it should be used wisely (as there may be a time you will need it desperately later in a level). Try to get at least 4 plants in Lemon-Aid's radius first before using this ability.

Lemon Aid's Tacobility, Pucker Up, can be useful if many zombies are attacking the sped-up plants, but keep in mind that Lemon-Aid has a chance to stun them.
