About

Kernel-Pult was a Common plant that was unlocked alongside Snapdragon after beating Floor 3 of Devour Tower. Its seed packets were more likely to be dropped in Taco Park breakout battles.

It costed 5 sun, and it attacked zombies by lobbing weak kernels with a 25% chance to lob sticks of butter that briefly stunned zombies.

Origins

It was based on the plant of the same name from the original game and its sequel.

Its Plant Food name was named after one of Kernel Corn's abilities in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2.

Trivia

• Kernel-Pult's projectiles could be lobbed backwards despite the animation suggesting otherwise. This could be observed when it attacked Jetpack Zombies that were flying over it.
