Cran Jelly is more than capable of changing into any other shapes. Cubes. Pyramids Cones. Icosahedron. It can do it all. But few shapes are as structurally strong or offer as much zombie crushing power as the cylinder. Not to mention, it lets him go really, Really fast.

Cran Jelly is a premium plant added in the 10.9.1 update of Plants vs. Zombies 2 as part of his own dedicated Arena season.

Cran Jelly is an instant use plant that teleports to the first column and rolls down its respective lane, damaging zombies on hit, and generating jelly puddles on kill, slowing zombies by 30% and damaging them further.

Cran Jelly is based on a cranberry, a group of evergreen dwarf shrubs or trailing vines in the subgenus Oxycoccus of the genus Vaccinium. Cran Jelly's name and function are based on cranberry sauce, more specifically the jellied cranberry sauce dish.

When boosted by Contain-mint, Cran Jelly will deal an additional 100 damage with his normal attack, an additional 30 damage with his goo attack, and his goo puddle life time is adjusted to 12 seconds.

Strategies

Cran Jelly has variable damage and this can be influenced. Generally, it deals less damage to faster zombies and those with narrower hitboxes, due to dealing damage per frame. (Note: FPS is 30 or 60 depending on settings) Similar to Guacodile and Parsnip, the overall damage can be increased by slowing and stunning effects, and with precise timing, even knockback.

Trivia

• Like Buttercup, Cran Jelly's jelly puddle is a recolor of Sap-fling's sap puddle.
  
• Cran Jelly's berry form bears a resemblance to the scrapped Apple plant from Plants vs. Zombies: All Stars.
• Cran Jelly has the highest damage output out of any plant in Plants vs. Zombies 2, since it deals damage per frame. This can also be manipulated by changing the frame rate in the settings menu.
• In the Brazilian version of the game, Cran Jelly's name is coincidentally the same as the name of a city in Brazil.
