Sawblade Sundew (锯齿锦地罗; pinyin: Jùchǐ jǐn de luō) is a plant in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2 introduced in the 3.4.1 update alongside Cactus Mistletoe. When a zombie enters a 3x3 area around Sawblade Sundew, it will throw out three sawblades around it that pierce through and deal fire damage to all zombies surrounding Sawblade Sundew. After a certain number of revolutions, the spinning saws will return to the Sawblade Sundew and it will begin a cooldown period.
If Sawblade Sundew is eaten or destroyed before his sawblades return to him, they will continue to spin in the orbit he was in until the number of revolutions is completed, at which point they will disappear.
Origins
Sawblade Sundew, as his name would entail, is based on the sundew, a carnivorous plant in the genus Drosera, with his internal name specifying that he is based on the Tropical sundew (Drosera burmannii).

In English: Throws a sawblade that spins around itself and continuously attacks surrounding zombies. Range: Surrounding tiles Since he was small, Sawblade Sundew has been very good at circular motions. He naively thought that it would help him become a genius in physics. In actuality, it brought him several winning streaks in yo-yo world championships. |

Strategies
Since the Sawblade Sundew's ability triggers when zombies enter its 3x3 area, strategically place it closer to the front lines of your defense. This allows it to activate its sawblades quickly when zombies approach, maximizing its effectiveness. Pair the Sawblade Sundew with plants that have crowd control abilities, such as slowing or stunning zombies. This gives the sawblades more time to deal damage to the grouped-up zombies, making your defense more efficient. Surround the Sawblade Sundew with defensive plants that can protect it from being eaten or destroyed by zombies. Plants like Wall-nut or Tall-nut can act as barriers, giving the Sawblade Sundew more time to deal damage with its sawblades. Keep an eye on the cooldown period of the Sawblade Sundew after its sawblades return to it. Use this time to plan your next moves and prepare for the next wave of zombies. You may want to have other offensive plants ready to fill the gap during cooldown periods.
In some situations, sacrificing the Sawblade Sundew to maximize the damage output of its spinning sawblades might be worthwhile. For example, if a large group of powerful zombies is approaching and the Sawblade Sundew's ability is ready to activate, allowing it to be eaten by a weaker zombie could result in significant damage to the stronger zombies.
If possible, prioritize upgrading the Sawblade Sundew to increase its damage output, range, or reduce its cooldown period. Additionally, utilize plant food or other in-game boosts to enhance its effectiveness during critical moments in battles.
