Prior to the 8.9.1 update, Modern Day - Day 45 was the 45th and final day of Modern Day. In this level, the player must defeat the Zombot Multi-stage Masher. As of the 8.9.1 update, this is the final level in Epic Quest: Modern Day Dustup!. Upon completing the level, the player receives 110 gems.

Difficulty
The player can immediately lose right from the beginning due to the Punk Form. This is the most dangerous zombie because of his fast speed, good amount of health, and lack of plants to deal with him. Because of the absence of lawn mowers, this zombie can able to pass through your defenses easily. The best plant though, is the boosted Iceberg Lettuce. Try placing Jalapeno on the last column so tougher zombies like Conehead Zombie and Buckethead Zombies won't overwhelm them. Kernel-pult's Plant Food to stop zombies effect is very effective at taking out any recently spawned group of zombies. are the basic attacking plants for this level, along with Pepper-pult. Jalapeno or boosted Iceberg Lettuce will have to be used against Jester Zombies, the Parasol Zombie the lobbed-shot are protected using parasols can used Jalapeno, or alternatively Cabbage-Pult, Kernel-Pult, or Melon-Pult. The Zombot Multi-stage Masher can also send out Gargantuars, and the final zomboss the Metal Jam including Punk Zombie Glitter Zombie MC Zom-B and Breakdancer Zombie, the Arcade Zombie the Jams do not including the spawning 8-bit Zombies, so be careful of that. The Zombot's main attacks are spawning zombies, rushing into 1 lane killing any plant with Speakers, and shooting a plant with a speaker. Save some Plant Food to avoid some of these attacks. After the first section, the Zombot starts summoning zombies from other worlds, which have either good health, good abilities, or simply negate some plants. Use every plant given effectively to get rid of these crowds, the Hunter Zombie can used Pepper-pult for these 8-bit Jams about the freezing plants, the Wizard Zombie and Octo Zombie during the rap jam can plants are animals the Breakdancer Zombie and ZCorp Consultant can kicking zombie into the Metal Jam. the ZCorp HelpDesk can without sending an airplanes.

Tips
Use Jalapeno when they used against the Jester Zombie and the Parasol Zombie during the lobbed shot, Pepper-Pult can kill the formers in freezing plants can Hunter Zombie used Pepper-pult while you only have to worry about the latters. Also, since the Knight is very quick, let it tackle a Kernel-pult before Iceberg Lettuce to stop zombies.

The first being Lost City - Day 32 , the second is Ancient Egypt - Day 35, the third being Pirate Seas - Day 35, the fourth being Wild West - Day 35, the fifth being Far Future - Day 35, the sixth being Jurassic Marsh - Day 42 and the seventh being Modern Day - Day 44.
- For some reason, the intro music doesn't have an intro music, and when the player loses the levels, the Modern day version of "The Zombies ate your Brains!" music is heard, even though it takes place in the Modern Day.
- When using Plant Food on Iceberg Lettuce doesn't need to Zen Garden, she appears to lobbed shot . However, are booster .
