Doom from the Deep

Doom from the Deep is the thirty-third mission for the plant side in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes. The main opposing zombie hero in this mission is Neptuna. This mission also features The Smash and Rustbolt as opposing zombie heroes.

Neptuna starts with three in the 1st, 3rd and 5th lanes. The player starts with five on the same lanes (the 3rd lane has one).

Encounter Battle

This deck uses bouncing and moving fighters on both sides around to try and clear the ground lanes. The only amphibious zombies however are the Imps from Barrel Roller and the Octopi from Octo-Pult.

Teammate Battle (I)

This deck takes advantage on low-stat plants by moving them for benefits on attacks or by weakening them. The Smash will always prepare cards that will weaken or destroy plants with the exception on summoning Armored Zombies.

Mini-Boss Battle

Nerptuna focuses on moving plants to lanes where they are vulnerable and bouncing them as well if they are dangerous. There are no amphibious zombies, so you can take advantage of this with an amphibious plant deck.

Teammate Battle (II)

This setup revolves around Sports zombies. Rustbolt will use buffs and shields to control the ground lanes. Mountain Climbers are not a threat due to the lack of height lanes.

Boss Battle

Neptuna still has moving and bouncing cards, but now there's less gravestone zombies. There's also still no amphibious zombies (aside from the Octo-Pets Neptuna starts with), so amphibious decks (and Grave Busters for the gravestones) are recommended.
