No Joke at the Junkyard is the twentieth mission for the plant side in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes. The main opposing zombie hero in this mission is Rustbolt. This mission also features Z-Mech and Electric Boogaloo as opposing zombie heroes.
A unique rule exclusive throughout this mission is named as "Healin' Heroes!", meaning that at the start of each turn, both plant and zombie heroes will automatically heal themselves by 2
.

Strategies
The gimmick of this mission benefits Pepper M.D. extremely well, giving it +2
/2 every turn. However, Rustbolt can easily destroy it with Rolling Stone or Cut Down to Size. Z-Mech can also use Rolling Stone, and Electric Boogaloo can use Locust Swarm, so beware. Heartichoke is also a good choice to bring along, since not only does her 3 normally prevent her from being destroyed by most of the tricks listed above besides Locust Swarm unless her strength is changed, but she also does 2 damage to the opponent every turn unless they block thanks to the mission's gimmick, possibly rendering the Zombie hero's heal for the turn moot. Rustbolt can play Shieldcrusher Viking and Coffee Zombie so bring along plants with high health and high offense so they do not get destroyed easily by Coffee Zombie and other zombies. Avoid using early offense plants, as they will be destroyed easily.
A very stall-y method is to utilize a deck with as many Pepper M.D.s, Power Flowers, and 2nd-Best Taco of All Times as you own. Doing this seems to confuse the AI for Rustbolt, along with other heroes, especially if multiple Pepper M.D.s can get onto the field at the same time. Since you're healing so much, the AI is focusing on other things than direct harm to you, and your Pepper M.D.s get so strong, so quickly, it can easily turn the tides of a battle, especially in the boss fight, where the only way for Rustbolt to defeat it instantly after one turn is through the one Cut Down to Size Rustbolt gets.
